I was pleasantly surprised by this book and would give it 4 stars. Hallie and Beau needed each other in their lives and were so good to each other and for each other. Outside of strongly disliking two side characters, I loved how positive this book was: no toxic relationships, no third act breakup, slow build of trust, great positivity and support. Really enjoyed this story and the characters. I can't wait for Walker and Hunter's stories!

This story had it all. I honestly think it beats Riding the High in the spice stakes for me! And trust me when I say this book is SPICY.…. I genuinely needed to take a breather and sit in front of my fan.

Beau finally meets his match in Hallie, and I absolutely loved them together. Every glance, every little touch, every subtle thing he does to make her happy had me completely hooked. Someone get me a one way ticket to Grosvenor Ranch, please.

Paisley, you’ve absolutely outdone yourself! I feel so lucky to have had the chance to read this before its November release.

You are all in for one incredible ride.
And can we talk about seeing the Silver Pines gang again? It felt like catching up with old friends, and I loved every second of it!

I’m going to be real honest, I was not expecting this. I love the way Paisley writes. She really captures everything, the family, the friend group, the heart ache. It’s not just the main characters, she makes everyone feel important. I was not expecting to cry so much. But also, check your trigger warnings, dementia is a bitch and Paisley did an incredible job with everything surrounding dementia and the Black family.

First, Maeve. The magical matriarchy of the family. She is amazing, loving, strong and watching her husband wither away with dementia. My heart.

The Black brothers. Going through their own things. We really get a taste of the closeness of the family and love the love they have for each other.

Hallie’s friends. I love the friend group. There and super supportive.

Getting to see the cameo’s from Silver Pines. Loved how connected it is in Paisley’s world. And getting to check on some of my favorites. Jo included.

Beau and Hallie. They might be my new favorite. I’m having a hard time writing this review, because I don’t want to spoil anything, but they are perfect. And I love them. And Beau is ✨chef’s kiss✨

A beautiful story for a beautiful family.
When Paisley hinted in her last book that the Black family might get a series I was hopeful I’d love them as much as the Ashby’s and I absolutely do- I can’t wait for more from Grosvenor Black Cattle Ranch!

Hallie and Beau’s love story may start unconventionally and a little messy, but it’s pure and good, and everything a happily ever after should be. Beau is an incredible father to his twin girls, and Hallie’s relationship with them right from their first meeting was beautiful.

There is a deep sadness to the Black family’s situation during this book which is all too familiar to many of us, and Paisley writes this with such empathy and respect. It was hard to read but so very real, and the way the family came together, along with the community’s support was so lovely.

I think Beau Black might be a late contender for many readers 2026 book boyfriend!

This is a new series that closely aligns to the Silver Pines series, but with a new flavour.

Beau is a suddenly single father after a one night stand, and lives a hard life as the eldest son of his family’s ranch. Fast forward four years, his father’s health is deteriorating and his mother is his full time carer so a lot of pressure lands on Beau’s shoulders, his twins are approaching pre-school age and he’s struggling with balancing ranch life, being a dad and the local mafioso’s henchman. Hes taking the edge off in his local bar when a stunning woman enters and takes his breath away.

Hallie is back in town after finding her ex balls deep in another woman, and where does she head, the local bar for some strong bourbon…. And a strong man by all accounts after she hits it off with Beau immediately, and the sparks are firing!

They part ways as Hallie unexpectedly leaves the bar, and when they meet again, it’s at the twins first day at pre-school, as their new teacher….. and Beau’s ex’s sister (recently passed).

Beau was so freaking swoon worthy! The perfect book boyfriend! He's devoted, protective, hard working and the way he is with his family especially with his daughters was perfection. His girls were cute as anything and they definitely stole the show a time or two.

Not to over shadow his relationship with his family but the connection he had with Hallie was just as perfect. I loved how their relationship grew over time. It wasn't rushed. It was natural, organic and once that F-It moment did hit, all bets were off. It was hard earned loved that was well worth the wait!

If you're looking for a cowboy romance with all the feels and that will lasso your heart, then I HIGHLY recommend reading Wanted! Paisley gives us everything we love in a cowboy romance and then so much more! HANDS DOWN A FIVE STAR READ!!!

Starting off a new series with a 5 star BANGER! this was such an amazing transition from Silver Pines and i’m so happy we got some cameos (i love my babies😭) she ties romance and the beauty of love so well with heart breaking real life emotions and grief i was crying through out this book while experiencing such happy loving moments. the banter and teasing between these two is HOT, to be pushed together just to be constantly torn apart until that band SNAPS is just delicious to read. the blend between contemporary romance and adding just ENOUGH morally grey really has you locked into this story and craving MORE!! she did such a GOOD JOB playing out the taboo trope and i was just ROOTING so hard for them!! putting their guard down and finally letting themselves be chosen by someone else. and oh MAMA someone take me to a house of mirrors STAT🥵

I always love the start of a new series and knew I was going to love this. A single dad, age gap and grumpy/sunshine. Some of my favorite tropes.
Beau only knows love from his family and to give it to his twin girls, Sadie and Piper, the loves of his life.
He is determined to be the best dad and will do anything for it, even if some decisions make him not so nice.
Beau has been through a lot, but he never gives up. When Hallie came to town it was love at first sight, but turned out to be a forbidden love.
Hallie has always been there for her family and friends and has gotten taken advantage of. She truly shows her love through acts of kindness. I love that she is fierce and sticks up for herself. And her loving scary movies is a plus!!
I loved how close the family is and they have each others backs. They don’t back down and love tremendously.
Paisley shows heart ache in this book and makes you think about your own family and what can happen in such little time.
I’m so excited to see what happens in the next book!!

Someone she can’t get out of her head, but they didn’t swap names so she won’t see him again. Until she does, on the first day of her new teaching job. With his twin daughters, her nieces. He can’t get her out of his head either.

I really enjoyed this, after a passionate clinch it’s a slow burn with off limits FMC/MMC. Add in an abusive ex, family drama and two cute girls. I’m not usually a fan of a single dad romance but I liked this.

Ok… so I probably started this book with Silver Pines expectations when it came to the vibes of this new series. But I was oh, so wrong… this one’s darker and grittier!!! So I think it threw me off a bit for the first third of the book I’d say! Then I think when my mind did the switch, I started appreciating it…
It’s a solid start for this new series and it’s a slower burn with lots of yearning; but when the spice hit is the perfect Paisley’s spice we all love.
I can’t wait to read the other brothers’ story…

I need everyone to understand something: I am a HUGE Paisley Hope fan. Aside from SJ Tilly, there are very few authors I have collected as many different versions of books from as I have Paisley’s. Her stories have spoken so deeply to me that I will probably continue collecting them for the rest of my life.

So when I tell you I loved this book, please understand that I mean I LOVED THIS BOOK.

This is the first book in the new Grosvenor Ranch series, and we start with Beau and Hallie meeting at a bar after they’ve both had a spectacularly crappy day. They’re flirty, they have chemistry, and honestly, everything seems pretty great and they both believe they’ll never see each other again … until they find out that Hallie is Beau’s deceased wife’s half-sister AND his children’s teacher.

Well, that certainly complicates things.

They both really like each other, but they decide they need to be off-limits. Now, is Beau a completely aboveboard rancher who always follows the rules?

Absolutely not.

So watching these two slowly break their own rules was SO much fun. Their relationship is hilarious, the chemistry is fantastic, and when they finally decide to give in to those feelings … as Uncle Jesse would say:

LORD HAVE MERCY.

There are so many things I loved about this story. I loved Beau’s mom. I loved all of the siblings. I loved watching Hallie find her place on the ranch and within this family.

I hated that Hallie came to the ranch because of an ex-boyfriend who treated her horribly, but I absolutely loved watching her begin to realize that maybe this ranch - and these people - could become home for her. As she spends more time with the girls, Beau, and the entire family, you can see her slowly finding where she belongs.

Hallie’s dad is also fantastic, and meanwhile, the Black family is dealing with the fact that their father isn’t doing very well, which adds another emotional layer to the story.

And somewhere along the way, Beau and Hallie realize that what they’re feeling is so much bigger than either of them expected.

Look, I’m a huge Paisley Hope fan, so obviously I’m going to love her books. But this one genuinely stole my heart. This is one of my favorite books I’ve ever read.

That is my opinion, and when I’m writing my review, that’s the only opinion that matters.

I cannot WAIT to see where this series goes because if this first book is any indication, the Grosvenor Ranch family is going to have me completely invested.

If you love small-town/ranch romance, family dynamics, forbidden-ish chemistry, a protective hero, a strong heroine, and a whole lot of feelings … add this one to your TBR immediately.

We are officially at Grosvenor Ranch!! 🤠 And Paisley has given us a whole new PERFECT start to a brand-new small-town series! Give me my favorite age gap, all the slow burn, yearning, grumpy/sunshine, family, and cowboy hotness because I am already completely obsessed!

Beau Black! A grumpy, filthy-mouthed cowboy who is protective, devoted, hardworking, a little morally grey, and an absolutely incredible dad? YES PLEASE. The way Beau loved and cared for his twin girls, Piper and Sadie, was EVERYTHING. This man has a heart of pure gold. He takes care of everyone around him, but you can feel just how deeply he carries the weight of the world, his family and the ranch on his shoulders. He gives so much of himself to everyone he loves, even when it means putting his own needs last.

And Hallie? She was the perfect sunshine to Beau’s grumpy. Full of so much light, warmth, and love. She’s back home after dumping her idiot boyfriend, ready to start over and find herself again. As a teacher looking for a fresh start, she has no idea just how much her life is about to change when she walks into Beau’s world.

One night. One chance meeting. They don’t know who the other is, never even learn each other’s names, and definitely don’t get a goodbye. And then SURPRISE… she’s the twins’ new teacher AND their aunt! These two had me HOOKED. The stolen glances, little touches, banter, and that absolute tension between them… the SLOOOOW BURN, the YEARNING, the push and pull! 🔥 These two were constantly fighting what they wanted, and when they finally gave in? WORTH. EVERY. SINGLE. SECOND. 🔥

I LOVED these families! His brothers, his mama, the entire town. There was such a strong sense of family and community that made this story. But the storyline with Beau’s dad and his worsening dementia was also heartbreaking and so incredibly real. Those moments hit hard, and Paisley wrote them with so much empathy, tenderness, and care.

This book was emotional, tension filled, swoony, spicy, and completely addicting as only Paisley writes! I can’t wait for the next brother’s story!

Let me preface this by saying Paisley is an auto-buy author for me. I have devoured and obsessed over her other 2 series and the SkyRidge Hotshots book. It pains me to say that this book missed the mark for me.

A story that starts out with two strangers in a bar that both have trauma to drink away. In addition, they are quick to find out they are tied together in a tangled way.

I want to give the whole Black family a huge hug because of Monty. The way Hallie steps in for Beau’s girls…Ugh, my heart!

Mr. Beau, sir! All of the YEARNING…I love how he opened up about his feelings, finally.

There were a couple different plots that jumped around a lot. I would’ve liked to see more character and relationship development. I also think if Beau would’ve been more open about the truth behind him and her half sister’s (lack there of intimate) bond from the get-go, the forbidden aspect wouldn’t have made their connection a drawn-out slow burn. Communication is key. I feel like this book has so much potential with more edits. However, I’m looking forward to reading the next book in her other series early next year!

4.5/5 stars for me but rounding it up to a 5 for ratings! This book had amazing depth and handled emotional and sensitive subjects beautifully. This books feels like it's gone through all 5 stages of grief with a mix of yearning and passion and I'm here for it! Paisley Hope putting me through the emotional wringer and making me say thank you for it in the end!

First let's talk about the main characters themselves, Beau and Hallie. The yearning and complex emotions of loss and healing from complicated past relationships, both with family and romantic/situationships, was done really well! I loved how the characters grew from there own personal trauma as individuals, and then came together. The sexual tension in this book, was just hot! Paisley Hope knows how to write possessive, dirty mouthed men and I ate it up!

Also, it would do the book injustice if we didn't have a moment for Maeve and Monty. Urgh, my heart broke for them. I cried over them. Dementia is a bitch and it was handled so beautifully and respectfully, of showing the decline of the illness and how that effects everyone around them in there own personal way and how each character deals with that. Stunning!

Also it's always fun to see characters from Silver Pines Ranch, come back into play throughout this book.

The only reason this book missed by half a star is because the ending felt high stakes and then suddenly plateaued. But still a really good book and I can't wait to read the rest of the series and I would recommend to everyone

I mean, what can I say? Paisley's done it again. I don't think I've yet to read a book by her that I haven't loved. So this was an easy 5 star read for me.

I loved the open and honest communication between Beau and Hallie. 👏 It's no wonder they fell so hard with how easy they came together. The slow burn was so worth the wait. The chemistry?! ELECTRIC. ⚡ Those spicy scenes had me SWEATING. They really were so perfect for one another.

Romance aspect aside, I loved the found family trope. I'm so excited to get to know the other brothers but I also can't wait to see more of their mom, Maeve. She's such a beautiful soul that you can tell would be a mom to anyone in need.

Lastly, I am SO HAPPY to report we had some cameos from Silver Pines Ranch in this series. 👏 And the fact it was MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PAISLEY HOPE COUPLE EVER?! Yeah that made this book that much better.

Oh and, in case I wasn't tearing up enough thru this, that ending had me crying all over again:

Paisley Hope has done it again. She has invited us into the world of the Black family and Grosvenor Ranch, and I never wanted to leave.

What Works:
- The Black family! I absolutely loved that the Black family takes center stage, especially as the family dynamics is essential to who Beau Black is at his core. I fell in love with every Black family member, and I'm excited to continue to see their stories develop over the Grosvenor Ranch series.
- Beau and Hallie as individual characters are interesting, layered, and engaging on their own. And because Paisley starts with strong characters, their relationship is that much more authentic and believable. Readers aren't relying on one or the other to carry the relationship.
- I am a sucker for the Single Dad trope, and Beau Black is one of the best.

One Slight Disappointment:
- There is one plot point I wish we would have seen on page, but other than that, no complaints!

If you are a fan of Cowboy Romances, Wanted is a must read!

Beau is the eldest son and a single dad who is struggling in most areas of his life. Work is tough especially when you moonlight as an enforcer for a cowboy mobster. He’s also dealing with a dad with dementia and four year old twins. He meets Hallie one night and they share a passionate kiss before he realizes who she is; the sister of his dead baby momma and the aunt to his girls. Danger Beau Black! Hallie has her own issues as well; a terrible relationship with her dead sister and an even worse one with her ex.

I enjoyed the slow burn romance that develops between Beau and Hallie as well as the relationship she develops with his family. They really accept her and treat her as one of their own. I wish Beau had been more honest about his relationship with the girls mother but I do understand not wanting to tarnish the memory of her.

Overall this is a great book with lots of romance and even a bit of a dark side. I enjoyed seeing the Ashby crew as well!

If Paisley Hope writes it, I can almost guarantee it'll be a 5-star. I love a moody cowboy, and that's exactly what Beau was. He was grumpy, not friendly, and not someone to mess with. Hallie came into his life and changed him into a new man. I will say there was slight miscommunication, but the way he ended up communicating his feelings with her was absolutely *chefs kiss*. I love a single dad x nanny (even though she wasn't really a nanny, she is their aunt), but you get the point. Overall, this book was a great read, and the spice is of course ON POINT.

It’s humanly impossible to go wrong with a cowboy romance written by Paisley Hope, and, of course, Wanted is no exception.

One of the things I appreciate most in a book is when the story extends beyond the relationship between the main characters. I love having a strong sense of family and the world surrounding the couple, and Wanted delivers precisely that. .

Reading Wanted feels like discovering what all-consuming love looks like. The romance is a deliciously slow burn, unfolding gradually enough to make you ache for every little moment between them, and leave you wishing for more.

The book also touches on some themes that may feel triggering for some readers, so keep that in mind going in.

That said, for me, it was absolutely worth it.

Advance copy!! This book was cute, but there were a lot of different side stories happening that made it feel like it was jumping around too much. With all of the different story lines, the book was not long enough to have enough depth for each one. Easy read!

I liked this book! It was a good single dad x nanny(ish) story with a little bit of added drama. I enjoyed the callbacks to the Ashby (and Ashby-adjacent) family.
