Ivys Touch is the whole package!
Not only is this the most gorgeous book ever with an incredible and unique plot, but it’s also so wonderfully written. This book was absolutely unputdownable! Every page pulls you in and keeps you hooked with the great imagery and tense storyline that unfolds in gripping bits throughout. The characters were very easy to connect with, specifically the FMC, feeling so authentic and relatable. The premise was amazing and something I’d never seen before, which I absolutely adored, and the way we could feel her visions and her raw emotions during them was so fun and addictive. Everything came together in such a suspenseful, emotional, and action-packed way, showing just how powerful love is and the way we push all limits to protect the ones we love. This easily jumped up to one of my new favorite books!
I absolutely cannot wait for book 2!

I was lucky enough to be given a copy of this book before publishing, there are quite a few trigger events so make sure you read those before getting stuck in!

But WOW! I couldn’t put this book down once things started kicking off (and it didn’t take long to get right into the plot of the story), tears were shed and a lot of stress was had.

Super excited for this author and for the next installments of the series!

5 stars hands down because I couldn't put this book down. What do you mean this is a debut novel?? I read this book in a day and its one of those books that makes me wish I could have my memory wiped so I could read it again for the first time. Stefany went straight to my automatically read list. I NEED books 2 & 3 yesterday.

I love mafia books and Stefany delivered with Ivys Touch. I didnt even highlight a favorite quote or scene because I was too immersed in this book. The scenes were so descriptive I couldn't pull myself away.

I LOVED our FMC Ivy. Shes an independent badass.
Second Chance romances I personally dont care for but this time, ill allow it. Ivy and Kevin's romance was a nice touch to the book and I love how Kevin and Ivy work so well together

Overall, I LOVED this book so much and cant wait for more.

I had a late start to reading due to life but once I got to reading, man. I couldn’t put it down. The author threw her fish hook and like the book addict with a good plot reader that I am, I happily let her get her hook in and she reeled it in. Keeping me so invested in the book. The plot is a fantastic read. This is my first book that I read by her and honestly? It’s got me wanting to read more of her writing. Beautiful!!

I was honored to be given an ARC from the Author.

This book had me in a chokehold from page one and refused to let go until the very end. Seriously, sleep? Responsibilities? Totally optional once I started reading.

The author somehow took mafia romance, paranormal thriller, and a hefty dose of family drama, tossed them into a blender, and created something that absolutely should not work as well as it does... but somehow, it does. A massage therapist suddenly develops the ability to heal people's trauma just by touching them, and then uses that power to help track down the monsters who brutally attacked her brother and kidnapped her niece? Excuse me, what? Who wakes up one day and comes up with a plot like that? More importantly, how do they make it so addictive that I physically cannot stop reading?

Ivy, our FMC, is an absolute badass. She's tough, resilient, and refuses to stay down, even when her life decides to throw paranormal superpowers into the mix. Her inner monologue had me laughing out loud more than once because she's witty, sarcastic, and refreshingly real. She's the kind of character you'd want in your corner when life gets messy. And trust me, life gets very messy.

From the start, it's obvious something is off with Ivy's brother. The man is basically a walking red flag parade. But as many of us know, you can't force someone to tell you what's going on when they're determined to keep secrets. Watching everything unfold had me equal parts frustrated, worried, and completely hooked.

And the romance? Whew. Let's just say it's not a slow burn... it's more like someone poured gasoline on a bonfire. The chemistry is intense, the tension is delicious, and the spice is the perfect cherry on top. HOT doesn't even begin to cover it.

The pacing was fantastic, the writing was detailed without feeling overwhelming, and the whole story flowed so effortlessly that I flew through it.

Honestly, I can't recommend this book enough. It was unique, entertaining, emotional, funny, and impossible to put down. Now excuse me while I impatiently make my way to Book 2 because I need more immediately.

This book was INSANE! I was on the edge of my seat reading it. I even got chills at one point. Please note: this book is no joke. Read the trigger warnings. There are torture scenes and there is nothing left to the imagination.

Parts of this book reminded me of the movie Taken. The FMC is a total badass! Do not underestimate Ivy Lee Kensington. She will do whatever it takes to protect her family. I loved her sarcastic sassy demeanor. She's a new favorite for me.

Reading this book was reminiscent of watching a high stakes action movie with graphic scenes. I absolutely loved it. This book is for you if you enjoy a tough takes no bullshit FMC who will do WHATEVER IT TAKES to protect those she loves.

Ivy’s Touch was such an intriguing reading experience. From the beginning, I was drawn in by the writing and the unusual blend of paranormal elements, crime, family, and psychological tension. There is a lot happening within this story, yet the pacing keeps everything moving with an urgency that made it surprisingly easy to become immersed in the action.

I especially enjoyed the way Ivy’s abilities are woven into the darker aspects of the story. They aren’t simply an interesting supernatural addition; there is an emotional weight attached to what she experiences that gives the premise much more depth. As the mystery unfolded and the danger intensified, I found myself increasingly curious about where the story was going to take me.

While I didn’t form the same emotional connection with the characters that I did with the circumstances surrounding them, I was still invested in discovering what would happen.
For me, this was a book that asked for a little patience and curiosity; there is a world here that gradually reveals itself rather than giving everything away at once.

Beautifully written, fast paced, emotional, and wonderfully difficult to place into a single genre, Ivy’s Touch gave me paranormal abilities, crime, suspense, and an intriguing mystery all wrapped into one very unique read. I’m glad I allowed myself to simply follow where the story wanted to lead.

Thank you to the author for the ARC.

WOW 🤩! “Ivy’s Touch” by Stefany Linaweaver was definitely a page-turner. This book will be published on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, so preorder a special deluxe edition in her bio page. This book was filled with action scenes and drama. I highly recommend reading the TRIGGER WARNINGS before reading. There were portions of the book that had extremely dark themes, so you’ve been warned! Overall, I loved it!

I was definitely pulled into the book immediately with it unique plot. This book follows Ivy Kensington, an ordinary woman who develops the psychic ability to see someone’s past trauma and feel what they feel. This ability soon becomes a matter of life and death. Every vision comes with a cost.

Stefany did a spectacular job in creating this wonderful story, and thank you, David, for encouraging her to pursue this masterpiece. If not, the world would have never met Ivy. I love every aspect of this book: the characters, the storyline, and the rekindling of a former love, Kevin. This book flowed smoothly. I definitely cannot wait to read Book 2. Stefany, I just wanted you to know that I’m a big fan.

Thank you for letting me read your book as an ARC reader and share my honest and humble opinion.

I received this ARC from the author
Overall good book.

I didn’t connect to this story the way I would have liked to.
There was nothing wrong with the story.
Unfortunately my attention was not captured.

The plot was great. Love the idea of the book and the synopsis.

There were a lot of characters to help build the story.
Our MFM has made a discovery about her self and handle it like most people would. For the most part she was relatable. There were time where an action did not seem real. Where things were not explained fully, develop fully or did not add up.

Our MMC was a good guy. There was not much character growth for him in the story. That being said that did not affect him during this story. He still had good moments and was where he needed to be.

Our side characters did not stand out too much. I only end up liking 2.

Our Villain was a sleaze bag of the story.
Which means they were written well.

Overall was an good book.
Plot was great.
If you don’t mind violence, blood, crime, this book is for you.
I think people should still give this book a shot. Everybody taste is different.

Ivy’s Touch by Stefany Linaweaver

Okay… this author is a freaking genius.

Seriously. What kind of beautifully unhinged brain thinks, “You know what would be fun? A massage therapist with an extrasensory ability connected to touch,” and then proceeds to throw trauma, crime, investigations, danger, supernatural abilities, and THE FREAKING MOB into the mix?

Because apparently Stefany Linaweaver’s brain does.

And I am here for it.

I went into Ivy’s Touch expecting an interesting paranormal story. What I got was something completely different from anything I’ve read lately.

Ivy’s ability sounds amazing for approximately five seconds.

Then you realize what it actually means.

She can experience things through touch. Things she doesn’t necessarily WANT to know. Things she definitely can’t unsee. And when that ability starts connecting her to some seriously dark shit, suddenly having a supernatural gift doesn’t sound quite so appealing.

Ma’am.

STOP. TOUCHING. PEOPLE.

But also please keep touching people because I need to know what happens.

That was basically my emotional state throughout this entire book.

What impressed me most was how Stefany took such an original supernatural concept and made it feel like it actually belonged inside a gritty crime story. Ivy’s ability isn’t some random magical add-on—it matters. It drives the story, affects the investigations, puts her in danger, and makes you realize that sometimes a “gift” can feel a hell of a lot more like a curse.

And this book gets DARK.

There are heavy subjects, trauma, danger, and moments that genuinely hurt to read. Stefany doesn’t sugarcoat them, either. But somehow she manages to balance all of that darkness with characters you become invested in and a story that makes you need to know what happens next.

Then there’s the crime.

The investigations.

The supernatural element.

THE MOB.

At some point I just accepted that Stefany Linaweaver had kidnapped me and I lived here now.

4.5/5 stars.

Original. Dark. Emotional. Suspenseful. Completely addictive.

This is exactly why I love discovering indie authors. Every once in a while you stumble across someone and think:

Where the hell have you been hiding?!

Stefany Linaweaver, you have my attention.

And Ivy?

Girl.

For the love of everything holy…

PUT YOUR HANDS IN YOUR POCKETS.

Favorite quote: "Who knows where bra bullet number three is..."

I'm going to start off by saying, judging by the research that went into this book and the topics covered.. Guys do not mess with Stefany! She knows stuff!! Seriously though this is so well researched taking you into the lighter worlds of a massage therapist and then dumping you into the distinctly darker world of organized crime and all that it involves, and portraying very well how easy it is to get caught up in it, but not so easy to get out..
What I love about this book is that it's a stand out example of what lengths a relatively ordinary human being will go to, to rescue and "be there" for the family she loves. Ok sure she's recently developed a really cool psychic talent which goes a long way to helping discover vital clues and information in the case of her missing niece, but at the end of the day what stood out for me was Ivy's incredible strength, resilience and determination not to give up on her loved ones.
I really enjoyed this read. The pacing was good, the descriptions of Ivy's visions and experiences with her new gift were fascinating and detailed and I really enjoyed how they strengthened and developed with each experience.
This is a great debut novel from Stefany and it's safe to say I cannot wait to get my hands on Book Two!! Thank you so much Stefany for giving me the opportunity to read this book in advance!

I was fortunate enough to receive this book as an ARC and am also part of Stefany's Street Team 🥳

Ivy is our psychic FMC. Kevin is our knight in shining armor, I mean detective MMC. Through their second chance romance, will they be able to take down the local Mafia?

Once Ivy discovers she has powers, she is thrown into the unimaginable. Her brother had been beaten to a pulp and her niece kidnapped. Her psychic ability will not only be a gift, but also a curse as she reads those around her to figure out where her niece is. Diving into their memories, Ivy puts the puzzle pieces together to hopefully find her niece...

✨

The way Stefany puts the readers into Ivy's visions is amazing. I truly felt like I was in the memories with Ivy whenever she touched someone. The descriptions, the raw emotions, just everything...was amazing. I sometimes had to remind myself I was reading and I wasn't in someone else's mind!

We were warned that the book picked up fast and boyyy she wasn't lying. Had life not been life-ing, I would have TORE this up in a matter of just a few days.

Stefany, I'm ready for book 2 🥳

I was really looking forward to this book, and I'm glad to say, my excitement paid off. I usually read horror, so I wasn't sure what to expect with this book. From almost the first page, I adored our protagonist Ivy. She was funny and sassy. A lot of her inner thoughts are very funny, and she even thinks cheeky things when she's in grave danger! And of course, I really liked her cat! Then detective Kevin shows up! I really liked him as well. Both he and Ivy were really cool characters and worked well together.
Of course it's not all fun and games. I have read a lot of horror, and even still this book had some of the most gruesome violence I've ever read. The antagonists are extremely vile, and some of the stuff they do will turn your stomach. I even cried once. It's all extremely well written.
I have never read a book like this before, and I think I will always remember my time with Ivy. I am so grateful to be able to read the ARC for this book. I received a free copy of this story and write this review voluntarily.

Thank you to the author for the advance readers copy

Make sure to check those TW. Let me just start by saying there’s so much trauma. I have no words to describe how I’m feeling after reading Ivys Touch. The plot was beautifully written. This book follows Ivy who gains psychic abilities that manifest when she touches someone. With each chapter the stakes get higher and the trauma increases. Ivy not only finds herself living her trauma, but she lives the trauma of those she touches. This bee comes especially difficult when she’s dealing with her brother and going back to those moments when he was hurt and her niece taken. This book had a big impact on me. As an aunt myself, I would go to the end of the world for one of my nieces/nephews. Ivy uses her new power to help find her niece. I felt Ivys pain and will to continue moving forward in locating her niece even at the risk of her life. This book had me in a chokehold wanting to know what happened to her niece. My emotions were all over the place. A mixture of sadness, anxiety, mad, fear, disgust, and happiness.

I really enjoyed this book. The premise immediately caught my attention—a massage therapist who discovers she has psychic abilities through touch. Watching Ivy come to terms with her new powers and learn how to use them made for an engaging story.

I also thought the conflict was woven into the plot really well. Early on, it’s clear that something isn’t quite right with Ivy’s brother, and as the story unfolds, we gradually learn the heartbreaking situation he’s gotten himself into after his wife’s death. The stakes continue to rise, leading to a desperate search that pushes Ivy to rely on her newfound abilities in ways she never expected.

Overall, I thought the pacing was solid, the mystery unfolded naturally, and the supernatural elements blended well with the emotional, family-centered storyline.

What. A. Ride!

The first thing that comes to mind after setting this book down is...REAL.
Stefany Linaweaver wrote a compelling story that is full of so many tiny details that help to draw the reader in. For example, when Ivy [the FMC], is checking herself before she heads out on a date. Her thoughts, and actions and so many other details in that scene and throughout the book really make it feel real...like something your family member would do or describe doing to you.

Without spoilers, I'll say that this book and the chase will definitely keep you invested...from start to finish. And, I love that Ivy is a strong FMC. She is determined to do whatever it takes to protect her family!

Thank you, Stefany for this ARC. It was an amazing read and I can't wait to see what happens next!

I have not read a book this fast in a long time! I'm not even sure I blinked for 4 hours straight, as if watching a movie and not wanting to miss a scene. Ivy's Touch checked off all the boxes for me, especially the way author Stefany is able to give the reader just enough character development to keep you invested while still enjoying the action packed ride the book takes you on.
The suspense is twisted. The good guys are genuine. The bad guys are BAD. The thrill is a crazy fast paced rollercoaster ride. The horror was an A+. The romance is spicy enough to make you look over your shoulder for lookie-loos. For a debut novel, author Linaweaver knocks this one out of the park. It's definitely a great bookclub pick for those ready for an unforgettable thriller. Adventurous readers will not be disappointed. I cannot wait for book 2!

Advanced copy review -

I really enjoyed reading Ivy’s Touch! It has everything I love in a thriller book. It took off from the very beginning and didn’t stop till the last page.

Imagine living your own life and then being thrown into the traumas of all those around you by just a touch. That’s what the FMC, Ivy Kensington, had to endure when she all of the sudden gain physic abilities.

This book was so intense and I could picture every bit of it as if I was watching a movie. It has trauma, loss, it’s emotional, full of suspense, torture, family drama, kidnapping and a rekindling love. Stefany, you did your thing and you did it so well! I loved the characters, loved the plot, loved the writing, loved the book!

I can’t wait for book 2!

Please make sure to check the trigger warnings before reading this book.

Psychic FMC, Detective MMC, Second Chance Romance, Mafia, Trauma, Paranormal, Crime, Thriller & Kidnapping.

This was a fast paced whirlwind of a story that had me on the edge of my seat!

I loved the FMC, she was a relatable character, she dealt with her situation in a raw and real way.
My god, she could not catch a break! Despite everything she kept going, using her new found talent and every connection in her life to save her loved ones.

The plot was perfect, and I loved how dark and sometimes gruesome it got while keeping spirits up with a tiny bit of hope and a lead.

The ending was everything. So much action and desperation all coming together in the best way.

I cannot wait to see what the FMC does next.

Wow, I'm obsessed with the writer. I will be vague so I don't give anything away!!  Defintely pay attention to the trigger warnings.  The way the author writes her descriptions and the sensory details make you feel like you are in the story.  I found myself holding my breath during the action scenes, feeling nauseated during the traumatic events, and reading so fast to find out what happens next.  I had a busy weekend and still finished the book in 3 days, because I just needed to know!!!   The characters are all developed in a way that you can relate with them and feel invested in their well being.  Very intense read, the story quickly draws you in and has you in a death grip!!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review - thank you to Stefany Linaweaver!

Our FMC, Ivy, has just discovered that she has the ability to relive and experience people's traumatic events, when things go awry with her brother and niece. Her high school love is now a detective and they work together to solve the crime. As the delve deeper into the criminal world, Ivy wonders how much she can really do with this new ability.

This is such a unique paranormal thriller novel. I really enjoyed Ivy as a character and hope we get to see more of what she can do and character growth from her in the coming novels. I'm glad there will be more in this series so we can experience more from these characters.

WOW 🤯
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Such a fun, fast paced read. I finished in a week, but if given the chance probably would have read it in one day (it was that good!). If you enjoy a little mystery with twists and a bunch of action, this is your read. I’m so excited that this will be a series and look forward to seeing how Ivy evolves in the next book. This is a very likable character and I love her tenacity and grit. I feel like if Kinsey Milhone and Stephanie Plum had a baby e Ivy would be it.

What a story. At first glance I wasn't sure. But damn it just sneeks up on you. When Ivy realizes she has this incredible gift that she can read people by touch. But then she read her brother and something was just off. This book will have you reading in just a day. The suspense, the thrill and just wanting to know. From when the bad guys come after her to her trying to find her niece my heart broke. I cried. But I promise the ending is a happy one. Chef's kiss 💋 read for yourself and find out.

I received an ARC of this book. All opinions are my own.
This is probably one of the darkest fiction books I've read this year. A power awakened, a family ripped apart & the dark underbelly of the Italian Mafia. Read the trigger warnings.
I have been gripped by this book from the start, cringing in places at the awkwardness, rolling my eyes in sympathy with Ivy & on the edge of my seat with my heart racing.
What would you do if your touch let you see into someone's mind, how far would you go for the ones you love.

This book had all the feels. Mystery, intrigue, whodunit, family, and found family. This one keeps you on your toes and keeps you wondering what will happen next. The main character, Ivy is a strong, mentally, person who faces many obstacles and fights her way through it all for her family. I feel like the love interest seemed kind of quickly established, although they did have a history, so maybe it’s just me. But otherwise, this was a fantastic read. Never boring and makes you want to move onto the next page without putting it down.

I started reading Ivy’s Touch not knowing what to expect, especially since this was my first mafia romance read and all I can say without spoilers ~ Wow Mafioso Gangstaaah style & it did not disappoint! ❤️‍🔥

Ivy’s was packed full of action, suspense, twists, and tension from mid chapter 2 to finish. I loved the way the story unfolded that kept me swiping the pages ~ literally.

If you’re into mafia romance, definitely add this one to your TBR! I highly recommend giving it a read. 📚🔥

I’m already looking forward to continuing this series and cannot wait for Book 2!

She finds this helpful when she needs to find a missing family member. So many times I wanted to throw my kindle screaming what the heck is she doing!! This is definitely a page turner and I just couldn’t stop reading! I’m so ready for the next book!
