Slow burning suspense in the Assassin's Revenge series...
I'd been a slave once against my will. It would take every bit of courage in my body to be a slave again.
This book takes place two years after Found. At the end of that book, Alexander is attending a consensual slave auction when he sees Ellie take the stage. A woman he spent a single night with in Paris, and who has haunted his dreams ever since. Ellie (who Alexander knew as Rachel) has dramatically changed her appearance and is now going by Jenny...

Alexander can see a setup from a mile away, but his curiosity is overriding his self-preservation.

This is a brilliantly written dual POV adventure, and the reader knows more than the MCs at this point in the story.

Here what we know for sure:
Ellie and Alexander are fighting the same enemy.
...but they don't know that.
There is no trust in the world of human trafficking.

This is complicated, so hang in there with me...

Alexander and Ellie met in a bar in Paris two years ago and had a one-night-stand so glorious they've never really stopped thinking about the other. They parted ways the next morning and didn't plan to see each other again.

At the time, they were hiding under the names Marc and Rachel. Their hookup was random, just strangers in a bar. Little did they know, they were both killing bad guys with some cloak and dagger awesomeness earlier in the evening. Ellie's kill was up close and personal. Alexander's was hands off with a team of assassins.

They're both killers.
They exist only to exact their revenge.
They have no idea how much they have in common.

ALEXANDER
aka Marc
I had no doubt she was dangerous, but I couldn't muster up caution around her. If she was a threat, I was being a fool.

I had three months. There was time to win her trust, take her to my bed and uncover her secrets. Maybe there was enough time to even reveal a few of my own.
Alexander is still as mysterious as ever, but one very important element was cleared up.

We know that Ellie is systematically taking down each of the guards who raped her before exacting her revenge against Dylan, the man who kidnapped her and kept her as his unwilling sex slave for two years.

We also know that Ellie is setting up Alexander to bid on her during this auction.

I was concerned that Alexander was one of the guards who brutalized her all those years ago. Actually, I didn't realize how worried I was about Alexander's role in Ellie's abduction until it was revealed that he had nothing to do with it.

Turns out, Alexander is some sort of financial manager for billionaires with dubious pastimes. One of his clients is Dylan McAllister. Alexander visits his client several times a year, and Ellie hopes to lure Alexander into buying her at the auction. This is her only free pass into Dylan's impenetrable compound.

ELLIE
aka Rachel, aka Jenny
Don't treat me like a person, damn it, I wanted to shout. You are nothing but a means to an end for me. Don't act as if I matter. Don't pretend you care. Don't make this harder than it has to be.
The first 30% of the book is Ellie's POV. She recounts how she infiltrated the slave auction and mentally prepared herself for voluntary sexual surrender.

We learn that memories of her night spent with Marc buoy her thoughts back to pleasure when the darker memories threaten to drag her down.

The woman barely survived captivity, the entire setup is one big nasty trigger for her. She clings to the memory of her encounter with Marc in Paris, but that shining memory is tarnished when she discovers that Marc is Alexander Hamilton.

She can't break cover.
This is her only chance to get close to Dylan McAllister.
How is Alexander tied to a monster like Dylan?

Ellie recognizes Alexander as her Parisian lover...
Alexander knows Ellie is the redhead from two years ago...

Neither party reveals the extent of their knowledge, and they spend the rest of the story circling around each other... Alexander pays for Ellie's submission for the next three months. He hopes to earn her trust and get her to reveal her motives to him...

Ellie is in up to her eyeballs with nowhere else to go. She once trusted Alexander. She placed him on a pedestal in her mind, but knowing that he's tied to the man who held her prisoner has caused all her memories to crumble.

They're starting over.
Pretending they don't know each other.
Resisting the impossible chemistry between them.
Playing a dangerous game of pleasure and pain...

Tara Crescent ended this book with another cliffhanger. Things are tense between the characters, but there's definitely a reluctant thawing.

I'm dying to know Alexander's full story - What are his reasons for infiltrating the dark and twisted world of human trafficking. What's his end game?

I'm on the edge of my seat awaiting the moment when Ellie and Alexander are forced to drop their covers and reveal themselves.

I was given this book by the author as an arc for an honest review and I can honestly say..wow, just I love it.
Also please please do not leave me there!!!!, a whopping cliff hanger!!
This book is the second in the series, we see the book recapping some of the first book, but continues from Alexander/ Marc, finding Eliie, who has now changed her name from Rachael to Jenny, in a submissive auction. She is sold to the highest bidder, her ultimate aim to get to Alexander Hamilton, who untimiately will get her to her maim aim Dylan. Her first master, who kidnapped her as a child, and forced her into sexual slavery.
In this book we learn a lot more about Ellie, and what has happened to her over the years, we meet people from her past..Sylvia, who sounds like she may have mental health issues!!.
Alexander successfully buys her for 1million Dollars, having already realising she is the Racheal he has been seeking for the last two years since she ran away from him.he doesn't let on that he remembers her, and she doesn't let in she remembers him. This book sees their intimate relationship developing, and then getting to know each other better. Elie, now has to be with him for three months and in that time is hoping to find Dylan and kill him.she doesn't know to what extent Alexander is involved in the sex slave trade, and this is where we are left.

Please, please do not leave me hanging for too long...I need more. The sex between these two is off the scale. I love the play room scene..this is just so hot, my panties nearly combusted !!!!

What an ending!!

That ladies and gentlemen is how you end a book. I'm dying to read book 3.

This was a great sequel. I enjoyed book 1 but this installment really amped up the tension and excitement.

The two main characters meet again in this book, each trying to hide their identity from the other. The lies pile up but so does the sexual tension and it's hot! As I've come to expect from Tara Crescent, this book has kinky sex and a great story. When I'm in the mood for some plot with my smut, Tara Crescent delivers.

I can't wait to see how this ends, I really hope Ellie/Jenny and Marc/Alexander can trust each other enough to work together. I really want a HEA!

This book is picked up where Found left off. Alexander has bought Ellie/Jenny at the auction. They each pretend to not recognize the other, for Ellie this is crucial because she believes that if Alexander (AKA Marc) recognizes her he will kill her. Alexander has a motive to do what he has been doing but Ellie doesn't know that, and I can't wait until she finds out....I have a feeling this is going to be a doozy. This was a great read it has everything I have come to love with Tara's books, a good solid story line and some very hot sex scenes. This book was a bit longer then Tara Crescent's usual books and I loved every minute of it. I am looking forward to the next book Freed I really hope there is a Happy Ending for Alexander and Ellie.

I've loved every single book I've read from this author and this is no exception. Her skill is profound.
The story continues and it gets more complicated and twisted. I love Ellie and I love Marc. Their secrets continue to grow and the tension between them keeps building. I love how we learn more about the characters and especially about Ellie's tortured past.
The writing was perfect! I really want these two people to get together and that conclusion! Guh! I want more. Tara Crescent knows how to create dark and edgy settings. I love it.
5 Stars from me.

So this is good . Ellie is a trained assassin. She has trained for years to be able to get revenge on the men who kidnapped and raped her when she was younger. She meets Alexander at a bar and there is an actual connection. But she can't indulge in it because it will interfere with her plans.

The 4 books are actually 4 parts of one book. But the book is very good. Ellie is on a mission. She has been trained by a man who is also out to get revenge for the rape and torture and eventual death of his sister.

In order to reach the man responsible for kidnapping her, Ellie attends a consensual slave auction. She is attempting to be bought by the man who manages his finances. And it turns out to be Alexander.

Too many secrets are between them, but they still manage to trust each other. In the end it turns out that was a good thing. And no matter how many traffickers they take down, there is always another to take their place.

The Assassin’s Revenge series deals with the ugly subject of human trafficking in the sex trade. It has some very graphic descriptions of the trauma Ellie survived as well as some other minor characters. These descriptions might be disturbing to some readers, which is why I mention them. With that being said, I feel they were necessary to build on Ellie’s character and her reasons for becoming an assassin. I won’t lie; I had my doubts about whether it was a good idea to mix a BDSM story in with this theme. I worried that this would be one of those stories that have the characters come into the BDSM world because their trauma caused them to want that. It was not. I thought the author did a brilliant job of showing the difference between a dom/sub relationship and what Ellie survived at the hands of Dylan. Over all this is a good 4 star read, and I enjoyed this series. I thought the sex was varied and hot. Watching Ellie and Alexander’s relationship and trust grow was entertaining, and there was enough action to keep me reading.

Bought is book two and it picks up two years after book one. This book jumps in with the premise of a voluntary slave auction that is all in fun. Ellie goes into this auction hoping to be bid on by the man who can get her close enough to kill Dylan for the abuse she suffered. She is surprised to find that the man she is hoping will bid on her is the same man she spent a night with in Paris. This book is filled with kinky sex, and BDSM play. I really liked how Alexander helped Ellie move past her trauma and embrace the submissive part of her nature. The difference between what Ellie experiences with Alexander and her past experiences are obvious. My only issue with this book was in Ellie’s disguise, and her belief that she could maintain it for three months. This was a sizzling 4.5 star read.

Ok not many books leave me stressed out, this one you can just about feel the tension. I was edging to just freaking talk to each other, tell your secrets. ~grumbles ~ Then damn cliff hangers, I swear Tara you’re enjoy adding to my gray hair lady.
Bought basically starts where the first book ends, Tara has added a bit more back ground detail, to fill out the characters more. It gives you a more ahh.. I get that kinda feeling. Not just on a revenge thing but and actual feeling.
At the auction Marc and Ellie recognize each other and its like time stops for a second. I can only imagine what both thought. Neither knows the others alter ego so all kinds of questions pop in both of their minds.
In Marc’s and Ellie’s world they cant afford mistakes or to get close to anyone for that matter. The one thing they both know about each other, is that they are dangerous. For Ellie she knows or she thinks she knows more about Alexander/Marc that he knows of her, even Marc’s people guide him in being cautious. Ellie/Jenny cant walk away and Alexander/Marc wont push her away. They both have jobs to do, will they be able to do them? Will the need for each other become a problem? Will the want of each other lesson the want for revenge to stop a monster?
The BDSM scenes were amazing loved them, the control and the lack of it, but more important the sit down and agreeing of what would happen between them. Ellie’s struggle in trying to remind herself that Alex isnt Dylan. The want of a Dom not to see fear in the subs face. That and just the intrigue of the story line. Again a hard cliffy, that had me wanting to strangle the writer. (smiles) Do I recommend this... Most def. Grab it read it .. Enjoy.

So instead of picking up right where Found left off it takes you back a little telling more of Ellie's story including what she was up to in the time since her night of passion in Paris. Then we get to the auction, will she recognize her unforgettable lover? Will he recognize her? Can she draw Alexander Hamilton's attention enough to get him to bid on her? If he does can she get him to fall for her enough to take her to Hanoi?
Ok so I'm finding this review hard to write not because I don't have a lot to say but because I don't want to give anything away as I know when I read reviews I strongly dislike spoilers. So what I will say is yes there is some repetition in this book from Found of what happened in Ellie's past but I think it added to the book as it kind of needed to be front and center in your mind to invoke certain feelings and to set the mood for the rest of this part of the story. I'm still in awe of Ellie's strength and perseverance but I think in this she also became more human for me, you get to see her vulnerability and know she's that much stronger for going forward and facing her fears. As for Alexander how can you not fall for this man? My only complaint with him is that I wish more of the story was from his POV I get why it's not and agree with the authors choice but I'm also greedy and want more Alexander in my head. This book is not a standalone and ends on a cliffhanger, you must read part 1 for this to make sense and you'll be on pins and needles waiting for part 3! If you're not patient TBR it and download the whole series at once :-)

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.

Picking up right where book one left off, Ellie who's now using the name Jenny is trying to get the elusive Alexander Hamiliton to bid for her in a consensual slave auction in a bid to get closer to the man who abducted, raped her and abused her when she was eighteen.

Bought is mostly told from Ellie's POV, with a lot of internal dialogue and flashbacks so we start to see a picture of who Ellie is and what she's endured and survived to do. So she's quite stunned when the man she knows as Marc from 2 years ago turned out to be Alexander and turns her life off it's axis. Fortunately this doesn't stop our girl as she gets into her role as Jenny and carry on. As Alex realises there is more to the woman he met before and the façade she's showing him now, he has her investigated but still bids and wins her as he tries to learn what exactly makes the woman he has tick and what secrets she holds.

This book like the first ends on a sweet cliffhanger that just makes you want to get the next part to see what discoveries lie ahead for both our players. With Ellie beginning to trust Alex, will her discoveries push her back or aid in her fight to destroy Dylan.

I like this book, but again most of the book plays out over a few days in the beginning and the rushes through to the end. Very fast and intense ride with hot sex thrown in a time or two to keep the spice in.

Ahh... the plot thickens and get better by the minute on book #2 of the Assassin's Revenge.
I really need for this book to be turn into a series or movie or something PRONTO! and just meet Ellie and Marc in the flesh.
Here we get to know in Ellie/Rachel/ and now Jenny's (as our female lead character is now calling herself) POV what really happen to her in order to be so determine to kill Dylan McAllister, and honestly even do it's just a fictional story, I believe it's a very accurate description of what goes down in the underworld of sexual slavery and human trafficking. I am guessing the author did her homework and research very well on this subject.
This part of the story first takes us to Bangkok, the epicentre of the world's sex trafficking trade, where we catch up with Ellie who has just found out who Marc, her french-one-night-stand, really is. Plus we get a glimpse into Marc's secrets as well, just enough to keep me wanting so much to just freaking learn everything about him.
I've read other books that have the BDSM theme attached to them, but I like the way the author took the story above the kinky sexual theme and gave us a mystery, thriller and just down-right-good vrs evil plot along the way.
I hate series, I prefer to read whole books, ignore my family while at it, gasp, cry and jump with excited in one single sitting, but I am sooo looking forward to the next installment of this one.......

The first book was freaking amazing! Book Two was even better. I can not wait to read the rest of the series. In this first book the two main leads go by different names so for my review I call them by him and her. Our leading lady is ruthless, she is out for revenge and will stop at nothing to achieve her goal. Our leading man tells her he a thief but we find out he is a lot more than that. and just maybe they have the same goal. Unfortunately they only have one night together, or so they think. Then in book two she has to sell herself as a submissive to man named in Alexander, but when she finds out it is the same man she is at a lose as what to do. of course he recognize her even if she is thinner and changed her hair. As they spend time together she becomes more caring of him but still thinks he is the bad gut and dose not remember her. Then at the end when she dose something she should not do. I was shocked myself by what she found. man I want the next book. but if you pick up this series after all books are out get them all you will have to know what happens.
I hope you enjoy this book as Much as I did.
If you do like this book, please consider leaving a review.

** ARC received from the Author in exchange for an honest review courtesy of Words Turn Me On Book Blog**

The second book in the Assassins Revenge Series does not fail to deliver! Delving straight back into where Found ended…time to pay the piper!

Ellies mission to be bought by the mysterious Alex Hamilton aka Marc comes to fruition, Alex instantly recognises Rachel aka Ellie who is now Jenny…keeping up? Without completely giving the plot away for this instalment when Ellie and Alexander met previously two years ago in Paris they were both using an alias name, things are about to become huge!

Still concealing their identities from each other, the lies stack up and trust goes out the window!

As the book is told through dual POV’s, I loved the fact that as a reader it really amped up my excitement at what was about to happen, as the characters were still figuring it out. The suspense, intrigue and sexual chemistry is second to none, literally couldn’t turn the pages quick enough but another bloody cliffhanger…my nerves are hanging on by a thread! LOL

Book three is out and I can’t wait to get started.

I received this as an ARC for an honest review

We enter into this story two years after the first one. Marc/Alexander is at an auction. He recognizes a woman from his past who he has never been able to forget. She also recognizes him, but neither acknowledges it to the other. Jenny has changed her appearance and thinks she has fooled Alexander…he is , after all, her target to help her get her revenge. As they travel to Paris, the site of their first encounter, Jenny falls more and more under his spell. Neither knows the truth about each other. Will the secrets they are holding be the end of them ?? Will they be able to trust each other when the truth does make itself known ?? And will Alexander be able to or willing to protect Jenny ??

I received this book for a fair and honest review.
She doesn't think he remembers her but she remembers him. He is the only man who ever brought her pleasure when they met 2 years ago in Paris. Why is he here at this sexual slave auction using a different name, the name of the man she came here to find? The man she is here for is tied to the man who kidnapped her and tortured her and sold her to a brothel, against her will, he beat her and took everything away from her. Is he really who she thinks he is, could he be so evil. The one man who made her feel pleasure may be the very man who brought her into this world of pain. Now she must play this out to find the one man she has sworn to kill at all costs.

***I received and ARC in exchange for an honest review.***

This book is intense with everything that you learn about Ellies (aka Rachel) past. Her life was turned upside down very quickly. She escaped a man and a place that not many people can do or succeed at. From that moment on, all she wanted was nothing but revenge and she would do anything to kill the man who harmed her.

I really enjoyed these books and look forward to more writing from Tara Crescent. I loved the idea of a revenge story especially for something like this. You hear about things happening like this all the time.

Wow, this series just gets better!

Ellie/Rachel/Jenny has put herself up for auction in order to become a submissive for a man that can get her close to the the man that kidnapped her from her home many years ago. The surprise is on her when she realizes that the man she wants to be her dom for three months is the man she had a one night stand with in Paris two years ago. Even though she has changed her appearance she wonders if Mark/ Alexander will recognize her. Great book. I look forward to the next in this series.

I liked how this 2nd book has given us some more insight into the characters and what happened before. This one also had both points of view so it was great to see clearly inside both characters heads. I am still loving the twists and turns and can't wait to see what the rest of the series holds!

OMG in BOUGHT, book 2, a couple of years have passed by and Ellie and Alexander can't help but think of that amazing night in Paris. But where is Ellie now? OMG, she's actually Jenny now, and she's on the freaking SLAVE auction block...Nooooo. But how does Alexander fit in? Does he work for Dylan, that scumbag abuser? No...was he one of the guards and is Ellie gonna have to take him out? Come ON...the suspense is ratcheting, the stories are SO well written and I'm snared.

Ellie/Jenny is undercover, hoping to be purchased by Alexander Hamilton, at a voluntary auction for women looking for a short term dominant relationship. Hamilton seems to be the way to get to the object of her revenge. She disguises herself, not realizing he is the man she met two years earlier, but she believes she is not recognized. Bidding is underway! Great story, good writing, good character development.

This is book two in this four part series. Each book is released so you can jump right in. Make sure you read these in the correct order.

After the way book one ended I jumped right into this. I couldn't help but read this in one sitting. It's the kinda story that grips me. The plot thickens with these characters. Can't really say much more without spoiling it.

Really enjoying this series.
