Some heartbreaks don’t look like heartbreak at all.

In a town like Quincey Falls, Tennessee, there’s no hiding from humiliation. When Scarlett Carson is left standing at the altar in front of all her family and friends, everything changes in an instant. Scarlett goes from planning her future to trying to rebuild a life she quietly never believed was hers to keep.

What most people don’t know is that this isn’t the first time Scarlett has lost everything. Behind her bright smile and fiery spirit is a past she’s spent years trying to live with and never quite forgiven herself for.

Enter Stetson Walker.

With chart-topping hits, sold-out arenas, and a reputation for blurry nights and women who never stay too long, Stetson seems like the last person who belongs in Quincey Falls. But beneath the fame and the stubborn charm is a man carrying scars of his own and a creative restlessness no amount of success can cure.

What begins as a chance encounter turns into something neither of them is prepared for. Between late-night conversations, stolen glances, and the quiet magic of a small town, their connection becomes impossible to ignore.

Unfortunately, small towns have long memories.

And when Scarlett’s old wounds resurface and outside pressures threaten to unravel everything, she has to decide… Is she finally ready to stop punishing herself and fight for the future she wants, or will she run from it all?

Sometimes the greatest risk isn’t falling in love, it’s believing you’re worthy of being loved back.

I'm an extra bubbly, introvert, who thrives in the chaos of storytelling. I write romance novels with BIG feelings and even BIGGER happy endings.

I’ve been writing ever since I can remember. It’s always been an outlet, one that allowed me to handle my own emotions while creating an escape for others too. Over time, the only thing that changed was that my diaries morphed into voice memos and sticky notes.

I will say, I have to credit my success as a writer to my 2008 self who stayed up way too late writing fanfiction about Panic! At The Disco. There is truly nothing more authentic than a 14-year-old writer who fully believes she’s going to marry a band member.

When I’m not writing, I’m either chasing my tiny human in circles, frantically packing for a trip the night before, or figuring out how to create stories that will make people feel the same way they did at the Eras Tour.

So, buckle up, Buttercup. And grab the tissues, because it’s about to hurt so good.

There's just something about Bianca's writing that feels like coming home while pulling at every one of your heartstrings. This book was no exception!

The twists and turns were perfectly executed, keeping me hooked from beginning to end. The chemistry between the main characters was absolutely swoon-worthy, and the unwavering love and support of a true best friend added so much heart to the story.

This was emotional, romantic, and beautifully written. A definite must-read!

thank you so much to Bianca Miller for letting me read this ARC. 🤍

this book got me in a way i truly wasn’t expecting.

the FMC was easily my favorite part because i saw so much of myself in her. always chasing the next thing instead of letting herself just be… it hit really close to home. she felt like a real person, and i found myself rooting for her from the very beginning.

and listen…the MMC was Riley Green in my head the entire time. if you know, you know. 😂

“When you’re so busy chasing something and you’re always going too fast, it’s easy to forget to slow down and appreciate the mundane. And then eventually, if you’re lucky and it’s not too late, you’ll realize the mundane isn’t so mundane at all.”

i think that’s what this book is really about. it’s about slowing down, healing, finding the beauty in the ordinary, and realizing that the little moments end up meaning the most.

i wasn’t ready to let these characters go, and i would’ve loved a little more time with them.

overall, this was emotional, and comforting. if you’re looking for a romance with heart and characters that actually feel real, i definitely recommend picking this one up.🖤 YEEHAW

A new twist on a romance from author Bianca Miller. More character build. More slow burn romance. And almost disappointingly less spice.

Scarlett may be a woman who needs a confidence boost so badly it can be infuriating at times but thankfully she has Maggie and George, among others, to help her learn to trust herself.

I’ve never been a big fan of cowboys but Stetson struts his stuff so well I might be convinced to consider going for a ride.

Haven’t been able to finish one of Bianca’s books without a solid cry, and this one is no different. Finished in a weekend but almost wish it didn’t end.

ARC from the author - my fave book is Diving In.

Yee-fricking-haw!!! Bianca brings the steam, the swoon, and all the feels in her latest smalltown romance. I adored Scarlet and have all the heart eyes for Stetson, the bad boy country singer who checked all my book boyfriend boxes!

Their journey was captivating as they worked through heartbreak, healed from their pasts, and found their way to each other. It was emotional, romantic, and impossible to put down.

I’m calling it now, Bianca Miller is the queen of smalltown romance with this lost cowboy!

Grab the tissues and hold on to your heartstrings folks, cause this book will do you in!

“When things get wild and feel out of control, it’s so easy to feel overwhelmed, to let all the chaos consume you.” I wrapped my arms around my lower half. “The noise gets so loud, it’s impossible to remember that we’re all just a bunch of people trying to figure this shit out.”

Tropes:
Found family
He falls first and harder
Small town romance
Celebrity x Normal person

Scarlett hasn’t had it easy in life, from having to make a big decision at 17, to experience a shocking heartbreak at 30, she’s still trying to learn how to move on through what life has thrown at her and the decisions she’s made. Here walks in Stetson Walker, country music star, who has escaped to Quincey Falls to hide away from the celebrity life, find himself in music again, and follow through on some promises he made. Scarlett and Stetson can’t help but continue to be wrapped up into each other, seeing each other in ways no one else really has. Yet Scarlett can’t help but let her past sneak its way in here and there and starts to wonder if she can really let Stetson in or continue to believe she doesn’t deserve happiness cause of what she did as a teenager.

One thing I loved about this book was any time Quincey Falls was described, I couldn’t help but sing Take Me Home, Country Roads because the description is exactly what I think of listening to that song! I also enjoyed the side characters, aka everyone in the town!, who helped support, uplift, and showed their love for Scarlett. Almost might be adopting “Past the Stars” with my partner 😉

Thanks, Bianca, for the eARC of Past the Stars

4.25 stars

This is Bianca's 3rd novel and dare I say it's her best one yet?

After Scarlett Carson is left at the altar, the life she envisioned for herself goes up in flames, leaving her in her hometown of Quincey Falls, TN trying to rebuild the life she thought she had planned out so well. Fortunately for Scarlett, this isn't the first time everything in her life has imploded and she's become semi-professional at burying her secrets/emotions/regrets.

Stetson Walker, Nashville's latest heartthrob and media bad boy, is no stranger to the spotlight. After his own personal tragedy, he stows away to Quincey Falls for some quiet reflection time to work on a new album, and to find the truth of a long standing promise he made to his best friend.

This was a really good read and packed full of emotion, friendship, and self discovery. Scarlett made me want to shout "get out of your head!" more than a few times, but her ability to change and grow into everything she hoped she could be was worth the read. Her and Stetson's relationship was rooted in something much deeper than physical attraction and I was so happy they found a way to make it work in the end. Also, I adored Maggie. She was the perfect best friend for Scarlett and the ultimate cheerleader.

The only thing that kept this from being a 5 star for me was there were a few phrases in the book that were written as dialogue that was said over and over again and I found that repetitiveness to be a little irksome.

I will definitely recommend this to my followers. I think they will love a good cowboy romance that was written so thoughtfully as much as I did

What an emotional rollercoaster!!! I have now had the privilege of reading two of Bianca’s books before their release date; and they have NOT disappointed me yet. This girl (it’s me, HI) loves her cowboy/country romance books; I wouldn’t say I’m picky but I know when tropes and stories get too repetitive for me. This was far from that. This is what this genre truly needed. I couldn’t put it down. When it comes to Bianca’s writing, there are two major things I really do love about her storytelling. One. Her detail to everything—it’s not overdone but it can transport me so effortlessly to where the story takes place. I still remember how vivid The Breath Between Us was in my mind. Two. How she brings two characters together in the most emotional way will forever be my un-doing—the ending of this book had me fighting for my life at midnight. But as most of you know, I never really have nothing to complain about when it comes to reading. If it tugged at my heartstrings, made me laugh or had me up until 2am crying—it’s an automatic 5 stars for me. So sorry Bianca if you’re looking for any ounce of criticism; it’s not gonna be found here. As a reader, if you are looking for your newest, swoony MMC with a slutty gold chain and a fiery small town girl who find their way to each other in the depth of the Tennessee valley, PLEASE pick up Past The Stars. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

If country music, small-town charm, crisp fall vibes, and a cowboy with a voice that could melt your heart sound like your perfect combination, then Past the Stars by Bianca Miller needs to be on your fall TBR.

Scarlett Carson's life falls apart in the most public way possible, but what I loved most about her character was her resilience. Instead of letting one humiliating moment define her, she finds the strength to chase her dreams and rediscover who she is. Her journey is a great reminder that sometimes we get so caught up in the idea of what love should look like that we lose sight of ourselves.

The community of Quincey Falls truly shines in this story. They say it takes a village to raise a child, but this book shows that sometimes it takes a village to help someone find themselves again. The friendships, support, and sense of belonging made this story just as heartwarming as the romance.

Bianca Miller does a wonderful job weaving in twists that kept me turning the pages, and I found myself wanting to finish it in one sitting. The romance, emotional growth, and small-town atmosphere made this such an enjoyable read. This is the perfect book to save for a cool fall afternoon. Grab a cozy blanket, a hot cup of coffee-or maybe even a whiskey grenadine-and settle in. You'll be glad you did.

How the hell does Bianca Miller manage to pull at all of my heartstrings, all at once, in every direction and leave tears silently streaming down my face? I'll tell you how--she's a brilliant writer!!!! I devoured every word of this book. Also, I didn't realize I liked "cowboy" as much as I do, until I met Stetson... HELLO!!!!! Scarlett is such a fantastic character and her relationships with the people she holds near to her was so well written. (I hope Maggie gets a story.....🤞🏻) I'm not giving any spoilers away......y'all need this book in your life! Scarlett meets Stetson when she's looking for some purpose in a life that seems like it's doomed for unhappiness. Stetson meets Scarlett when he seems lost and wants the world to see him for who he really is. Feelings are felt, things are realized and I get the ending i was so desperately hoping for! Thank you Bianca for writing these characters to life and sharing this story with us!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ARC Review

Bianca Miller did it to me again. She somehow manages to rip my heart out, put it back together, and leave me wanting more every single time.

I could not put Past the Stars down, except to grab a few tissues. From the very first page, I was completely invested and absolutely glued to this story.

Stetson and Scarlett have the kind of chemistry and emotional connection that romance readers live for. Their relationship felt so raw, vulnerable, and beautifully written that I found myself feeling every high and every heartbreak right alongside them.

If you love small-town romance with all the swoon, perfectly placed spice, emotional depth, and characters who stay with you long after you finish the book, this one absolutely delivers. One of my favorite things about Bianca’s writing is how every little detail and every puzzle piece comes together so seamlessly in the end. Nothing feels accidental, and the payoff is always worth it.

This book made me laugh, ache, cry, and fall in love. Another unforgettable five-star read from Bianca Miller.

Beautifully written, deeply emotional, swoony men and fiercely brave women! Past the Stars is a small town romance between a local writer and heartthrob country singer. Scarlett thinks she’s finally found her happily ever after, only to be left at the alter. This resurfaces a past she’s tried hard not to acknowledge. Then she meets Stetson Walker. Stetson has made a name for himself as a wild and care free country singer but no longer wants to be seen as just that. He visits Quincey Falls to take a break and help find some peace while writing his next album. Can they help each other find what they are looking for or are their worlds too complicated?

This is Bianca Millers third book and it was just as incredible as her first two. Check out her other two book, Diving In and The Breath Between Us, if you haven’t already! All three stores are stand alones and not connected in any way!

Thank you Bianca for the ARC of Past the Stars!

One of the many things Bianca does well in her books is bring the emotions. The buildup in this story was really good. Both characters in their own right had great character development. There were moments where Scarlett frustrated me, more so towards the end, and I just wanted her to get out of her own head essentially, but the overall ending is just so so sweet and makes it all worth it. I feel like you can see where the story is going, and then there’s a good little twist in there that pushes the story even more. Stetson knew what he wanted the moment he met her, and even though she was reluctant , he kinda just proved himself and showed up. And I loved how he just wanted people to see him for who he really was. I really liked him. Really good side characters too! I love a supportive BFF!

Thank you to Bianca Miller for the advanced copy. I’ve really enjoyed all her books thus far.

Okay I don’t even know how to quantify into words how much I loved this story. Bianca Miller freaking did it again y’all. This was one of my most anticipated reads of the year & it knocked out any expectations that I had. This was such a beautiful story with so much emotion. Bianca has a way of writing a story that you just want injected into your veins forever. Scarlett & Stetson are one of my favorite book couples of the year. Stetson saying everything he loved about Scarlett will forever be one of my favorite scenes because it’s the details that do it for me. The spice was absolutely perfect & so well written. I would also like to shoutout the best friend Maggie because holy smokes everyone needs a friend like her. Thank you to Bianca for the ARC of this amazing story. I will be in a book hangover for the foreseeable future.

Past the Stars was such a special read. 😭🤍

This small-town cowboy romance is packed with heart, friendship, love, and healing. Scarlett was exactly the type of character I love to root for, and watching her finally find her way was so beautifully satisfying.
But can we talk about Stetson 🤠!!!! He was also everything I wanted in a swoony, reformed playboy, country star, cowboy.
I also have to shout out my girl MAGNOLIA!! I love when the relationships outside the romance are just as meaningful as the romance itself. The friendships in this book were so special.

By the end, I was crying buckets of the kind of tears that hurt and heal at the same time. I didn’t want to leave Quincey Falls. If you love an emotional small town romance, you absolutely don’t wanna miss this one. 💕

Thank you so much to Bianca Miller for providing an e-ARC of this book. All opinions are my own.

I have read all 3 of Bianca Miller's books and it has been rewarding to see the author's growth and character development through her books. It's like I am along for the ride, too. This book felt relatable and felt like you were on the Scarlett and Stetson's growth journey, as well

Admittingly, I am not a country music fan but Quincey Falls drew me in. I loved the community feel and the way that they took care of their own with love and compassion. I wish everyone could have a George in their life!

I do notice that Bianca's books have a fair amount of swearing. I am all for a swear word thrown in as appropriate but it seems to be overused, in my opinion. It loses it's luster and laughability after a few times.

Overall, this book had all feels and I couldn't help but shed a few tears at the end. It pulls at your heartstrings!

MY FIRST ARC YAY!! I did not expect to like a western romance/ cowboy book so much lol. If you know me you know I’m not the biggest country gal but this got me in my heart strings and I was head over boots for Stetson thank yew!!

LOVE GEORGE obviously!

In books I usually dislike when they build so much to this big secret, and although it was driving me crazy through a good part of the book I feel like the reveal was great! It was a good secret to keep from the reader, and I love the way it all played out.

The only other thing I feel I feel like I kept thinking about was I just wish there a was a little more storyline to Scarlett and Stetsons buildup. Obviously the chemistry was there, and they were into each other, but I just wish there was a little more storyline! Idk if I’m explaining that well, that’s just how I was feeling lol!

Bug all in all love how the book ended and it was such a good small town, country, hallmarkesk romcom!!

First, this book is very obviously a love letter to the dirt that raised Bianca. I live a few hours away from the real-life area that inspired this story. The descriptions and observations Scarlett shares with Stetson about the magic of Rolling Meadows resonates in my bones.

"But it's what's inside all of the mess and chaos that makes life worth living" is one of my favorite lines from the book (and there are many). It perfectly summarizes the idea that keep so many of us moving forward despite life's plot twists.

The chemistry between our main characters is absolutely magnetic. I loved all of the supporting characters that create a multi-generational found family.

Past the Stars is a reminder of hope, resilience, the power of love, and the enduring human spirit. Thank you Bianca for the opportunity to be one of your ARC readers!

I’m trying to find the words to describe how much I absolutely LOVED this!!! I am such a small town, cowboy romance lover and this mixed in the country music superstar vibe that fit so perfectly. (Side note: one of my favorite movies is Forever My Girl and this was giving me all of those feels again!) I truly could see this becoming a movie because the romance felt so real and deep, there was somewhat of a mystery involved, and there are even more layers that could be unpacked from both Scarlett and Stetson’s lives. I loved that their communication was real from the beginning and their relationship was never just physical or surface level. The author brought everything together at the end beautifully and ugh I loved it so much!

⭐️ ARC REVIEW ⭐️

Wow… I’m at a loss for words. 🥹 I feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to read an advanced copy of Past the Stars.

This was my first cowboy small-town romance, and it absolutely did not disappoint! From the moment I started reading, I couldn’t put it down.

Scarlett was such a strong, resilient, and captivating FMC, and I loved that Stetson never gave up on her—even when she was ready to give up on herself. Their chemistry and emotional journey completely stole my heart. 🤠🤍

If you’ve been wondering whether cowboy romances are for you, let this be your sign! Past the Stars is full of heart, unforgettable characters, and a love story that will stay with you long after you finish.

I’m not sure if I finished the book or if it finished me. Cliche I know but this book was everything.

A woman who fears past decisions will define and haunt her future and never allowing herself happiness because of that.

A young musician who has partied and drank himself away from all his problems and now needs to find himself.

And then they find each other. There’s so much tension and angst and moments where you want to scream at them but it’s all worth it for the ending.

The pacing was perfect, the emotional depth, and the wise musings from the old rancher and father figure.

Thank you for letting me be a part of your early review team. This is a story I’ll carry with me past the stars.

I will preface this review by saying I am 10 months postpartum and can’t read a physical book to save my life. I always catch myself nodding off… until I started Past the Stars. My sleep deprived self couldn’t put this book down. I finished it in less than 48 hours.

Bianca Miller has such a way with words. I was immediately captivated by Scarlett and Stetson’s story. I found myself eager to understand Scarlett’s background, while swooning over Stetson.

If you love a small town cowboy romance, this book is for you!

Talk about an emotional roller coaster—and one that felt incredibly relatable.

Scarlett is such a strong FMC. She feels everything deeply, loves with her whole heart, and is doing her best to keep her life pieced together after things don’t go as she had planned. Her journey is messy, emotional, and beautifully real.

And then there’s Stetson. Beauty is the cowboy who can sing and love with his whole being. He was the perfect balance to Scarlett and completely won me over - from his first sentence I was smitten.

This story had me laughing, tearing up, and rooting for these characters on from beginning to end. Once I started, I genuinely couldn’t put it down. Past the Stars is absolutely worth adding to your TBR.

I would recommend this book a million times over! Bianca Miller has done it again with this masterpiece and I think it may be my favorite book from her yet. This story is deep and raw and beautiful. The dialogue, inner monologues and all the in between flows perfectly together. Her words are seamlessly written, capturing the essence of each character. Each book of hers I have loved and have had the privilege of being an ARC reader for and I cannot be more thankful to have been able to read each story early. This one tops the cake though. I’m a sucker for a cowboy romance and this really threw me in the deep end. Stetson and Scarlett, you have my heart, Past the Stars ❤️

I swear every time I finish one of Bianca’s books I have the same thought, I wish I could read it again for the first time.

Past the Stars was so easy to get into, and once I started I genuinely didn't want to put it down. It was one of those books where you keep saying, "just one more chapter," and then suddenly it's way past your bedtime and now I have been tired all week :)

I laughed, stressed, smiled, and got way too attached to the characters. Bianca just has a way of making every story feel so effortless to read while still completely pulling you in. Another book I'll be thinking about for a long time. 🤍

Thank you Bianca Miller for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is my first book from this author, her other books are in my kindle library, after reading this those books are getting moved up the TBR pile.

We initially meet our FMC when she’s been left at the alter. I initially was worried she was going to be a helpless damsel needing saving. I was happy to see that while she certainly needed some confidence, encouragement and direction - she didn’t need to be saved by the MMC.

The romance was great in this and obviously a big part of the book but what I really loved was the meaningful friendships and found family, to me that really made it something special.

Did I just read a 6 star book? This book was absolutely amazing from start to finish I could barely put it down. The writing in this book by Bianca Miller was so poetic and beautiful I seriously felt like I was inside of the book feeling the feelings of the characters - and that’s truly something you can’t get in a lot of books.

Scarlett and Stetson had so much tension and depth to their relationship it was truly a beautiful love story. Please read this if you love Elsie Silver! This author is seriously up there with the big time western romance authors and I feel honored I got an ARC. This book scratched an itch in my brain that I needed and I cannot wait to read more.

Scarlett and Stetson both work through different versions of love and loss and their connection is unmatched. Is there anything better than a heartfelt cowboy?

Not only are the main characters fabulous, but you truly get to connect with George, Maggie, and Ruby too!

After getting left at the altar on her wedding day, Scarlett, with the help of her best friend, tries to rebuild her life in her small hometown. What she didn’t anticipate was a certain country music superstar coming in to her life.

The story line followed two characters trying to overcome adversity in their lives and ultimately being able to move forward together. I loved that the writing style for this romance had a little more depth than the average romance. I would definitely recommend this book to any romance lover.

I was totally engulfed in the drama that started in Quincy Falls and spread to Nashville! Hooked from the beginning, trying to guess where the story was going, but always being surprised by the twists! Scarlett and Stetson both grew immensely throughout the book. My favorite part was the love and support Scarlett’s people had for her, even in the midst of some of life’s troubles. This book makes you want to root for her from the beginning!

Bianca continues to impress with her determination and dream chasing!
