The moment GloryAnn Cranbrook met her new patient at the children's clinic, she broke a rule by getting attached. But at least she felt something, unlike her handsome boss, Dr. Jared Steele. Why? And could GloryAnn—and the child who needed them both—change his stubborn mind?

This was a good story, though predictable, but the ending fell flat with all of a sudden everything resolved that the plot had built to, with little explanation, and suddenly it was over.
ok, i have mixed feelings about this book. i could relate to the main character, and his reactions to his circumstances seemed realistic. as for the main character, tho ...
she seemed a bit too unreal to me. she was definitely someone that i WISHED i could/would emulate, BUT ... she was depicted the way i think most people would come back from experiences like she had.
still, tho, i got invested in the characters, and enjoyed the book
