Oops… Daddy’s Back

Rate this book
I spent six years hunting the woman who vanished with my heart.

Now she’s back in New York, headlining a gallery show, pretending she doesn’t still belong to me.

Too bad I saw the little girl who answered her door. Hazel eyes. My eyes. Five years old and mine.

Amara thought she could hide my daughter from me. Thought running away would keep her safe from the man she believes chose someone else.

She was wrong.

I’m not asking. I’m claiming what’s always been mine — the woman who owns me, the child I never got to hold, the family she tried to steal. I’ll burn every bridge, destroy every threat, and drag her back into my bed and my life if that’s what it takes.

She ran with my heir.
I’m bringing her home.

You been a bad girl?
Oops is right.
Because….Daddy’s Back.

Read on for secret baby shocks, billionaire obsession, second-chance fire, a ruthless rival who gets wrecked, and a man who will destroy the world to keep his woman and daughter. HEA Guaranteed!

great plot

Great plot, but it just didn’t have enough substance for me. I really wanted to see the parents woven into the story more Amara’s mother barely got a mention, and Cassin’s father, while present, only ever showed up in a business context. I wanted more of their relationship, especially since Cassin’s mother had already passed.
And a few things never got answered that I was hoping for: What ended up happening with Raylin’s sentence? Did Cassin and Amara end up having a boy or a girl? Those felt like threads the author set up but just left hanging.

I see me reading this over & over again, a very great read

As always a great read, truthfully the work she did with his flowers the white peonies, I wish I could see them as a drawing of picture. I love the description. Of the them. I would have love to see the whole art collection. Junes energy was exactly 5-year-old status, made me think of when my Son was that age with him. It was how to spell everything. I mean everything he looked at. He’d asked me what it is then when I told him what it was, he wanted to know how to spell it then I had to spell it. That’s why I loved reading this book and I can see myself reading it again..

Good Read

I was thoroughly surprised that this book was as good as it was considering the crazy title. But I enjoyed Cassian,Amara and June's story very well. Cassian was always in love with Amara since college, but allowed Raylin's manipulative ways and influence to get in the way pushing Amara away. Cassian was determined to not lose Amara again and pushed his way into their lives. Cassian also did what he needed to do to protect his family and save Amara's name, but he did it and proved his love to her in front of evrryone. June gets both parents and a grandfather who all love and adore her. Definitely worth reading

Review of advance copy received from Author

She left six years ago because she thought he chose another woman. Now she has returned for an art exhibition and runs right into him. Amara is withholding a secret one that will change Cassian's life forever and maybe the outcome of everything she has been holding onto. This story had me connecting with the characters as I cheered them on to happiness.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
