Very thorough; the book deepened my love for the breed. Accurate description of the breed, at times even comical, just like the temperament of a Dachshund. The best is the last line of the book, "Sharing your heart is the best way to mend it", which pertains to moving on when you just lost a cherished dog, by sharing your heart with a new one.
This books is AWESOME!!! It talks about dachshunds and what their like. It shows things like diagrams of it's body. Even though they can get hip dyphasia and and back problems, they are full of energy and need a lot of excersice. I want one sooooooooo bad, so if you like dachshunds like I do, YOU NEED TO READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!
