I.D.E.A.: The Beast in Red
A hard-boiled detective. A monster from beyond reality. A secret agency protecting the multiverse.
Private investigator Max Calder has built a reputation in his version of 1930s Chicago as the man the police call when the impossible happens. Vampires, witches, ghosts, monsters, Max has seen it all.
Or so he thought.
When a series of brutal murders leaves victims literally torn apart, Max finds himself hunting a creature unlike anything he has ever encountered. The killer is enormous, impossibly fast, and seemingly able to vanish into thin air after every attack.
Then a mysterious man named Deeks steps out of the shadows and changes Max's understanding of reality forever.
Deeks is an agent of I.D.E.A., the Inter-Dimensional Enforcement Agency, a secret organization charged with protecting countless worlds across the multiverse. Their stop those who would tear down the walls separating dimensions before all realities collapse into chaos.
Now Max must join Deeks and his unlikely team, including a gentlemanly insectoid named Kolthrax, the enigmatic Nyx, the spectral agent Ezekiel Clay, and dimensional traveler Noble Randle, to track a terrifying creature known only as The Beast in Red.
But the monster is only the beginning.
A ruthless billionaire is experimenting with forbidden technology, weaponizing the power of alternate realities, and risking the destruction of not just one world, but every world.
To stop him, Max will have to leave everything he knows behind and step into a war being fought across dimensions themselves.
Packed with pulse-pounding action, hard-boiled mystery, weird science, monstrous horrors, and classic pulp adventure, The Beast in Red launches an exciting new series in the tradition of The Shadow, Doc Savage, Hellboy, and The X-Files.
The multiverse is vast. The dangers are endless. And I.D.E.A. stands watch between worlds.
