I started grade school in 1966 and I used this series of workbooks.

I just absolutely loved them and I know they really helped me as far as reading skills.

I loved the illustrations and also the characters.

This particular workbook contained the stories The Bedtime Story, Ann and the Dresses, The King's Clock, Sam's Party, Tommy Helps Farmer Ned, After the Storm, The Magic Pencils, Jimmy and Big Paws, The Stolen Dime, Mrs. Quack's Hat Shop, and Sam's Sandwich,

Some of the stories that were contained in these workbooks were some of my favorite stories
that I have ever read in my life.
