I loved seeing Holly's story, and how it opened up why she was the way she was. Gabriel was a great hero too, not too perfect, but just right. I loved the faith part of the story. It was so real.
This book was great.I have learned so much from all three of the books in this series. I am a Christian, but I felt like I was never into God as these people.
An earthly story, a work of fiction, with great depth and eternal blessings. Loved this series and especially loved seeing all of it wrapped up at the end of this book.
I really liked the story line in this. Very well written story. That said, I was disappointed with the apparent lack of editing for proper writing and punctuation. I hope Ms. Stallings' next book is properly proofread for the details.
God puts people in our lives for many different purposes. I loved Gabriel and his using his time in the morning to pray as he pulled weeds from the flower gardens. What better place to pray than while viewing some of God's greatest and most beautiful creations. And then when Holly started to listen to the creations, I had to chuckle. This story pulled some heart strings at the anguish that was felt over such bad choices and the worthlessness that it makes one feel. Holly was an "interesting" character in the first two books and I didn't know how a story could possible come about from her life. I didn't like her much at first, but after just a few pages, I actually liked her and was cheering for her. Holly's loss of so many people in her life because of her mother's choices was sad. I enjoyed the part in the book where she talked to Luke about it and he informed her that she would always be important to him and that he wanted her to remain a part of her life if her mother did make a choice to leave him.
I really enjoy how Ms. Stallings writes from a young persons perspective. It's realistic and mostly honest. Enjoyed this book better than I did the one about Rebecca (can't remember the name off the top of my head) simply because Holly seemed more of what I see working with youth. Wish I had time to write more but I enjoyed every minute of this story
