I love stories that make me feel and think. Ones that reach angst levels to make my heart beat fast. I love books with powerful heroes who make me swoon and melt. I love kink laced through... even when at times its on the very edge of my comfort levels and far removed from my real life experiences, I like books that push my limits because they're always the ones that make me feel and love the most. The Ivy Leavold series gave me all of this and more.

This is like a short epilogue about the life of Ivy as a married woman and a mother.
Go ahead.
It was almost like a taunt, a dare, daring me to try to make her want me, and I had never been one to turn down a dare.
Julian misses his wife as she used to be before she became a mother. Before she cared only for his son, George. He wants his wildcat back. So, after he overcomes his anger and finds his self-control, he will become her teacher and her master again.
You need to read the previous books before this one.

The Reclaiming of Ivy Leavhold occurs four months after the arrival of baby George. (Can you just imagine what Julian’s heir must look like! So cute!) Ok, enough sweet cuddles because this is one hot f*cking read! Ivy is a devoted and loving mother, but since George’s birth, she is trying to balance her new role. Julian is understanding and patient, but he knows exactly what his wife needs from him. He demands two things of Ivy and she has no choice but to comply or invoke her safeword.
“When I caught his gaze, my throat went dry. I don’t know how I knew it-how I could even tell the difference-but I did. The adoring father was gone. In his place was a man I hadn’t seen in months…His voice-raspy and authoritative –was also ice cold, the same voice he’d used whenever he punished me…so demanding.”
“More than anything, I wanted Julian to come home, drag me into the library, and fuck me until I was too sore to walk.”
Each day, Julian is able to resurrect his wildcat and coax her back to him – a place where she can forget and only feel pleasure and pain. With Julian slowly allowing Ivy to unleash her most primal needs, the sexual tension is palpable and you can feel the heavy need for release.

Although a short read, this book packs a tight fisted punch of lust! I highly recommend this book to anyone who has already enjoyed Julian’s commanding ways and Ivy’s feisty submission in books 1-3.
I look forward to reading Silas and Molly’s story to be published in fall 2015.

This last book in the series is more like an extended epilogue. It was beautiful and it made me think. Julian and Ivy are married with a child and they are going through a bit of a rut in their marriage and this short novella was all about reclaiming what they once had. I loved it and I LOVE this series.

What a beautiful end to a wonderfully written series. Although a short read, this novella was scorching hot and feverish by all means. Taking place four months after the birth of baby George, The Reclaiming of Ivy Leavold is more like an epilogue to this series and I won't deny I will terribly miss the blistering chemistry and fervent passion between Ivy and kinky Mr. Markham. I hope to see them again soon in Silas and Molly's story. Ms. Sierra Simone is such a brilliant writer and I hope she continues writing stories like this one!

The Reclaiming of Ivy Leavold happens 4 months after George, Ivy and Julian’s son, was born.
Ivy was going through a phase after giving birth. Being the mama bear that she is, she hesitates having a nanny not seeing anyone good enough to take care of George. And with all her time with the baby, all she wants is some alone time for herself and yet, she feels she has obligations to do as Julian’s wife. Added strain to the situation is Julian being all cuddly and soft towards her. She misses the old Julian, before the baby was born. And yet, she doesn’t really knows what she wants.
Julian Markham, the guy that he is. Well, all I can say is that I fell in love more with this beautiful man. Of how he reclaim his wild cat and the man that he is.
Usually, books that are after the marriage life or the happily ever after, are usually a bore to me. Giving me that notion that it is written to entice the fans and then disappoints you because there is nothing there that is new or you don’t already know. But lo and behold! This definitely doesn’t fall in that category and is a complete surprise for me. I love love this book and I love the characters even more, especially Julian.

Ivy Leavold has nowhere to go. Her brother has died, and left her penniless. Her only option is to accept the kind offer of going to live with her late cousin’s husband; Julian Markham.
Julian Markham is a serious, handsome and possessive man. He reeks of domination, and it doesn’t take Ivy long to fall under his spell.
I’m not a big fan of historical romance, and this may not truly reside within that genre if I was a diehard fan. But to say I was completely under Mr Markham’s spell too, would be an understatement. I didn’t find her descriptions too flowery or monotone, as I had naively anticipated from a historical. But she totally captured the world at that time, through dialogue as well as characterisation.
This story was purely captivating, not only for the mystery surrounding the elusive Mr Markham and his band of merry friends, but for the relationship that developed between himself and Ivy. Ivy was a fantastic character, who had picked herself up from potential squalor, only to find herself the subject of the chattering domestics.
I won’t retell the story, because it unfolds quite nicely through the Markham Hall series. They are fairly short, so you can enjoy it relatively quickly.
This series rigidly confirms that Ms Simone has a unique talent at writing not only erotic romance, but has opened a further door for me to step through.
Utterly splendid!

Very Nice!!! Well done little epilogue. Let me start off by saying, I never like when the heroine wants the guy so bad it hurts, but the way this author writes, it just really work well. I will add that I believe this book should have been the epilogue in book three.

Well, this super short story of Ivy's postpartum is supeeeer believable! No doubt, a couple's postpartum life is totally in the pits; it is simply forgotten unless you can shake it up 🥲
This is a long epilogue for Julian and Ivy; I'm not sure why in the previous book there was an epilogue if this book exists...
This series is super hot and well written, no doubt about it, but the plot and character development are a bit lacking. If it were just a 150-page book, I wouldn't even mind, but it's a series with four books...

three stars! ⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧˚ this was a pretty cute epilogue novel for ivy and markham! i liked seeing them as parents, but i also liked julian making sure that ivy wasn’t totally losing herself in the process of parenthood. definitely a quick, fun read! really excited to pick up molly and silas’ story next!

So nice to get a novella post-baby! I feel like this situation is so interesting, esp how to get back into a sex life and not just be parents, and I wish we got it more often in romances. Julian loves Ivy so much and he's so considerate of her needs after pregnancy and having their baby 🥹 and he loves her stretch marks 🤭

I had read the first three books earlier this year. They were the first "historical" books that I have read that had elements of BDSM in them. I have often said that even if you don't like historical romances that you should still give this series a try. It is very easy to get invested in the characters and forget about the time period. This novella fits right in with the previous books. It was nice to get a final glimpse into their lives and I did enjoy it.
This little novella, along with the series, is high on the "dirty" scale. Please heed the warnings if that isn't something you like to read in general or in your historical romance books.

Loved this final of the series!!!
We see that Julian and Ivy struggle to maintain their happily ever after. Following the marriage and birth of their son, things change and the dynamic of the couple seems to get lost in all the new experiences of marriage and parenthood.
Julian must find a way to help the love of his life come back to him. Of course, he does that the only way he knows how, with pure dominance! He will get his wildcat back if it takes him forever.
With only four chapters I was pleased to find there was nothing lacking!! Especially the sex!!! FREAKING HOT and does not disappoint keeping my lip between my teeth ;)

A very short, but still incredibly good final chapter in Ivy and Julian's story.
This final story is only 30 something pages I think, but it shows a small part of their life after everything has settled, and they are now experiencing married life, and parenthood, but also a little glitch in their normally incredible sex life.
As always these characters are perfect, and I love the way Julian deals with things in his own brute, roguish way. Proving how bad, yet so good he can be.
A must read, for this series!!!

God, I love them. Julian and Ivy are as delicious as ripe strawberries on a beautiful sunny day.
I love how much he loves her. He loves her with a fierceness that all women should be loved with. He worships her like she is his very own goddess. And she is.
Ivy isn’t just a wife and a wildcat now. She’s a mother. It is difficult in those first few months after having a child to separate the woman from the mother; the needs of the sexual being versus the need to nurture and love a child.
Thank god for men like Julian Markham. It’s not just him that reclaims Ivy, Ivy reclaims herself. Magnificently done.

Ivy and Julian have a child and then what happens? Ivy forgets how to be Ivy and Julian has to find a way to remind her who she is and prove to her that she can be a mother, wife, and her former self all at the same time. It was pretty relevant as lots of moms lose their identity and their former selves once kids come along.
