The only flaw with The Devil's Host Motorcycle Club series, is its too short, longer chapters needs to be added. The author has a keen eye, and dramatic detail, plot and storyline are edge cutting sharp. You can feel the brotherhood as if you'd walked into the biker bar as a club bunny or sweet butt. violence is in the air, your heart hammers to the tunes of war! Yeah I'm with Noah, as the shits hits the fan with the Bloody Jokers.

Hot dangerous and addicting! This book was a short quick read and I still can't get enough! It makes me want more!
Noah is hot dangerous, sexy and he takes care of what's his and Star is his! Not even she is allowed to hurt herself let alone anyone else! When things take a twist Noah has to hold onto his control or risk not only losing his life of Stars too!
I can't wait to read more from this series!

This novella continues where the first book leaves off. Star is on her way to enter the motorcycle club under Noah. The first novel in this five-part serial wasn't great, but it was a good set up and had me interested in where this series was going. It was offered for free within the first book, so I decided to pick it up because I was intrigued to see where this story was going. Not surprisingly it quickly went down hill. The plot is just too confounded and quickly turns into this whole pissing contest for domination between Noah and the MC gang's leader, Dev. Once

Talented writing continues to paint with words the vivid colors of anger, fear, lust, power control, treachery, tenderness and anxiety. The experience just ended too soon. Well he broke her in alright. But not as she suspected. Star catches herself in the middle a dark twisted scenario. She remains a tough woman through Dev and his bosses tough demands. When Dev seeks out to reclaim Harry. The both catch themselves in a pretty scary situation. Dev is protecting her with everything he has but has to meet the demands of the MC boss. This book is very dark and yet sexually demanding. A very good 2nd start of the book! I loved it and I am very anxious for the 3rd book. Review for SNS.

The stakes are getting higher and the danger growing ever closer to Star after bad boy biker Noah takes her in payment for another's betrayal. Things aren't that clear-cut though as Star's been looking for an escape from a life becoming more oppressive and Noah's isn't as bad as he first appears. While this installment is a bit darker than the previous we get to see deeper into Star and Noah's souls and to the better lives they're desperate for but doubt they'll ever have. For now they'll take what they can in a story full of game-changers.
Star is a sweet girl caught up in dark and dangerous things beyond her control. She longs for excitement and for someone to care for her and sees those possibilities in Noah. Being with him though means embracing some of the darker things in life which leave her questioning her heart, soul, and beliefs of good and bad. Through it all though I admired her strength and her ability to survive everything happening to her now and in her childhood.
Noah's a very strong-willed man who believes in what his MC once was but is slowly discovering how twisted it's become. He's still extremely loyal to his MC but meeting Star leaves his loyalties divided and committing an act that will change everyone's future. Amongst all the darkness surrounding him in this installment I treasured the quiet times that gave us a glimpse at the man behind the patch. He's a man with wants and dreams that he knows he can never have so he'll hold tight to the one bright spot in his life right now...Star. Readers learn a bit about his family, especially his wayward sister whose disappearance leaves us screaming in frustration for a cliffhanger with huge ramifications.
This story had a faster pace than the previous with a lot more sexual intensity. Noah and Star crackle with electricity whenever they're together with his claim on her more than apparent. The head of the MC, Dev, is a truly vile villain whose nefarious plans leave the club in the middle of a battle for revenge with the body count just starting to add up. Noah's friend Stone leaves a lasting impression with his rough attitude and flashes of true caring and support for his friend and Star and I hope to see more of him. All-in-all this was an exhilarating thrill ride full of twists and turns and intense sensuality that kept me on the edge of my seat. I'm now left counting down the days until the next book in this dark, gritty, and sexy serial.

WOW, how intense. This is a dark erotic story. The author has done and amazing job capturing the characters and what it must be like to be part of an outlaw biker gang. The spoke and unspoken laws. The loyalty that goes into the brotherhood.
Star’s cousin Harry was in some deep trouble with the Devil’s Host. Dev wanted information and he did not care how he got it or who he had to hurt. Nothing would stand in his way. He was out for blood.
Noah was an Enforcer for the Devil’s Host. When Noah had come to collect Harry, Harry had fled leaving Star to deal with the aftermath of the situation.
Noah had to already protected Star once. The problem with Star was not running from danger. No she hopped on the back of its bike wanting a taste of the wild side. No matter how dangers it was and no matter how much her brain was telling her it was not a good idea.
Noah had already claimed her. She was his now and nothing hurts what his, not even her. But what happens when they stand in the middle of danger? What happens if he is faced with her getting hurt? Can he stand by and allow it, even if it means saving their lives or will he die trying to save her?
I love this series and was screaming as I read the last sentence, “No don’t end it there”. So need book 3 now.. Oh the agony of the wait…

HOLY MOTHER OF HOTNESS!
WOOH! Talk about hot flashes. Lol! This book is set you crotch on fire smokin hot! Lol! I'm tellin you if Noah were a real man there wouldn't be a woman I know that could tell him no. I'm almost speechless. As hardcore and dark as he is he has a sweetness deep inside him. When it comes to Star and his Father and sister Jules he would kill for them and not think twice about it. Again this book is short and not so sweet but off the charts saf. It's exciting an the suspense had me breathing hard. I definitely recommend this series to everyone. If your looking for something to heat you up and leave you wanting more then this series is a must read. I thought my Nook was gonna catch on fire.

I just finished Break Me In and I really enjoyed this. It's apart of the Devils Host MC series so Ride Me Hard must be read first. As you know Noah is the enforcer and he has taken Star back to his club to talk to Dev. What he doesn't expect is to have to enforce punishment on Star to find out information from Hardy because he was not talking. It is was a quick yet sexy read. I'm kid confused at a particular spot that happened in the story but cant wait to see what happens next!

Shari sure knows how to take you on a dark and twisted ride! This continues from part one and only gets better and hotter and more twisted and dark.
Star is one touch woman. She is smart, smarter than Dev, as she proves. She's obviously had a rough past and I hope we find out more about that!
If you've been keeping up with the flash fiction then you don't want to miss this because there is a lot of extra goodies thrown in!

Star is still with Noah of her own free will. She loves him or something close to it. Noah is very protective of her and his club. Getting things cleaned up in the club, is going to be hard he says but she is willing to stick around and help. What will happen with the rival club coming on their turf.

Break Me In is another fast paced, exciting read.
Continuing from where Ride Me Hard left off, Noah drags Star along with whatever it is that he’s doing. Drag, I use the word lightly because she went with him willing, despite his warning signs to stay away. Despite that he beat up the sheriff who was hitting on her. Did the officer deserve that beat down, maybe a little…but not to that extreme.
Star willing leaves behind a life where her landlord comes and goes out of her apartment as he pleases. An apartment that she can barely afford and a job that barely pays her to survive. She leaves her home behind with its broken door, barely hanging on its hinges to ride away into the sunset with Noah. Or ride straight to hell. Depends on how you want to look at it. Depends on how Star is looking at it.
Shit gets real serious, and the excitement that Star didn’t know she was seeking becomes all too real as Noah and his friend take Star to a club. This club is gritty and dangerous with drugs, naked women, random sex everywhere. In this scary club, Star’s flight or fleet responses are kicking in full gear. There, in all that trepidation building inside of her, she meets the big bad Dev. The one that Noah and his friend have been talking about repeatedly since before they left.
A little too late to decide flight or fleet Dev decides to use Star to get information out of Henry. I felt bad for her. I was a happy that Noah stepped up and wanted to do the lashings instead of Dev. I felt bad that Noah had to do that. I hated Dev because he knew, could tell how Noah liked Star. Dev got what he deserved.
The reason why I rated this 4/5 hearts is because I couldn’t get over the fact that although Star was beaten, and hurt she still wanted Noah to screw her. I have never been lashed before but I could only imagine the excruciating heat on her flesh. Then when she woke up all horny for Noah. Maybe Star has a high level of pain tolerance.
I like Noah. I’m intrigued to know more about him, his family and gang family. There’s more to the big bad biker than what meets the eyes. I’m excited to know about what happened to his sister. I want to know what will happen with what Noah did to Dev and I just want to know more!

This second part of the 5 part serial starts right where part 1 left off, with Noah and Star heading out on his bike for parts unknown (at least to Star). It's not to be meant to be read as a standalone, though you could fairly easily jump into the story with this chapter.
Star comes across in this chapter as still rather naive and trusting, not really understanding that Noah has a job to do, one that will impact her greatly. At the same time however, Noah is obviously a conflicted character. He is an enforcer for a motorcycle club, and he has duties and obligations to the heads of the club that can't be broken. Yet he obviously has tender feelings for Star amidst the violence that makes up his world, and he shows this to her with gentle touches even if his words are designed to appease those around him. All the ugliness that goes along with Noah's job is something that Star isn't prepared for. But she's made her choice to go with him, and she has to trust that the end result will keep her safe. And the attraction between them just won't be denied.

This chapter is a mixed bag of hot sex, and ugly violence. It's a real view into the harsh reality of a biker club with its own society rules of what is and what isn't acceptable behavior. Noah must make choices that will impact Star physically and emotionally. Yet through it all, he manages to show her that he cares about her. I don't know where it's headed to next, but it's obvious that Noah isn't about to let Star go. 5 stars.

Star comes across in this chapter as still rather naive and trusting, not really understanding that Noah has a job to do, one that will impact her greatly. At the same time however, Noah is obviously a conflicted character. He is an enforcer for a motorcycle club, and he has duties and obligations to the heads of the club that can't be broken. Yet he obviously has tender feelings for Star amidst the violence that makes up his world, and he shows this to her with gentle touches even if his words are designed to appease those around him. All the ugliness that goes along with Noah's job is something that Star isn't prepared for. But she's made her choice to go with him, and she has to trust that the end result will keep her safe. And the attraction between them just won't be denied.
'He presses a kiss to the corner of my lips that lights a fire inside me, inside both of us.
His hungry mouth claims mine, gentle at first but then fierce, until it's all wet heat and teeth.
His tongue slides against mine and his fingers dig into my ass while I'm cradled in his arms, and it's like I can finally breathe again. I'm not just a problem to be dealt with or collateral to be protected. I'm his. I'm wanted.'
This chapter is a mixed bag of hot sex, and ugly violence. It's a real view into the harsh reality of a biker club with its own society rules of what is and what isn't acceptable behavior. Noah must make choices that will impact Star physically and emotionally. Yet through it all, he manages to show her that he cares about her. I don't know where it's headed to next, but it's obvious that Noah isn't about to let Star go. 5 stars.

Break Me In is part two in the Devil’s Host MC series. This gritty MC book continues as Star takes off with Noah to be owned by him. It appears that being “owned” by Noah means that no one else is allowed to touch or use Star. There are some surprisingly tender moments in this installment but also some nail biters. The ending leaves you jumping up and down saying WHYYYYYY!!!!!
Robin: Part two started off with me thinking Noah…you’re still an asshole. What does she see in you? BUT as we move along I think for a biker dude…you might be growing on me!
Jen: I was so anxious to jump into this and Noah is definitely a biker who I see myself falling for! His attitude and good looks help :)
Robin: I really liked the shampoo scene. I’d love a guy to do that to me. Or do me in the shampoo chair…I’m good either way.
Jen: Oh gosh yeah that shampoo scene was so sexy --- I bet it wasn't only the water that was making her wet... Hello! I love that he keeps warning her not to trust him but yet I find myself trusting him!
Robin: I do too! He's winning me over and with his soapy suds and protective touch. If that's what it means to be owned, maybe I'll put myself up for adoption.
Jen: Hahahahaha seriously! What Star had to endure but why she did made me like her even more! I give Noah all the credit in the world for staying strong while witnessing it! I wanted to offer my shoulder (and bed) as comfort for him!
Robin: True! I'm ready to help Noah clean house, take names and provide some distraction for his down time....I mean UP time. Ok, Shari, we are on Noah's team and ready to kick ass. Give us book 3 and we will front and back him up!

Break Me In is the second in the Devil's Host MC serial. I read the first part of the serial, Ride Me Hard, and liked it. I loved Break Me In! The story picks up with Noah and Star reaching Noah's MC clubhouse. In the previous installment, I didn't really connect with Star because I couldn't figure out her motivation for following Noah so easily. As I read, I gained a greater understanding of the traumatic past that Star endured. She describes the foul scent of the MC as "The signature scent of my childhood" (heartbreak). I really start to feel and pull for Star.
Then there is Noah. Oh Noah, how you turned from a character who, yeah was hot, but was a bit jerky. However, darn it, you made me really, really like you in this story. Noah is protective towards Star in all these little ways that give you glimpses of his true feelings for Star. He is conflicted because he knows the best thing for Star is to stay away from him but he can't seem to bear sending her away. This line about sums it up:

We start this part right where we left off -- with Star getting on the back of Noah's bike as he's taking her away from the destruction of her current life. In this volume in the series, we see Star getting to be more comfortable with the choice she made in RIDE ME HARD, but we also see that Noah has a possessive side.
...I mean, yeah, sure, we got that in RIDE ME HARD, but it is extremely evident in BREAK ME IN. I liked that he sets Stone straight right away. He was sure to set Star straight on love versus what they will be doing, too, but just hours later, in BREAK ME IN? I think someone was getting feelings...
Noah's possessive side has a bit of a protective streak, and while he's forced, more or less, to do things to Star he'd rather not, the truth of everything is in his eyes.
Like I said... for someone who just earlier was adamant about no feelings... he's getting feelings. Sure, he'll chalk it up to ownership and whatnot, but there's more lurking there. He puts on a very strong front, he has his assholish ways... but under it all, Noah can be a very likable man.
The more of these little glimpses we see, the more I want to know who, exactly, Noah is. I'm itching for the other parts of this serial and am finding myself to be a tad impatient.
...especially with this one's ending.
