Stephen Devereux is convinced that the boogeyman, famous for targeting sleep-deprived souls, is out to get him. After all, it did put his older brother in a wheelchair a few months ago, and now that Stephen's been missing so much sleep, he's the perfect victim. The storm is breaking outside, and Stephen is getting tired. Will he find a way to stay awake, or suffer the wrath of a childhood fable?

Worth the read. This is frightening. I dug right into it. short and sweet and left me wanting a whole longer story or collection of more frightening stories to go with it. Check it out.
I love horror, and this was well done. It's spooky and has an interesting story. I was hooked within the first few minutes. Would recommend! Moral of the story: get your sleep and don't drink too much 😆
