This was a really strong ending to the series, and I loved how everything came together. I liked seeing the characters face their own battles, especially Moose’s journey. He was probably the most fulfilling character to read. Of course, I don’t want to give any spoilers, but I definitely went through the wringer with one of the storylines, lol. I loved what type of time Kong was on; he was doing anything and everything to seek vengeance. I loved every one of these characters, but those Blackmoor men are definitely nothing to play with.
That woman was determined to be unhappy. She found a reason to be mad about everything. She never looked at the bright side of anything and always found the worst possible way to interpret a situation. How do you dig into the pits of hell to start an argument with your husband because he’s giving attention to y’all child? 😭 She was exhausting to read. The only time she seemed genuinely happy was when Mozzi bought her that building. Nothing else he did ever seemed good enough for her.
I got to 66%, I was over it. I wasn’t invested in any of the couples anymore. I love a good HEA, but I just didn’t care how anybody got there. Coast completely wore me out, I realized I was reading just to finish instead of because I was enjoying it.
Favorite Quote: “Maybe she was better off right where she was” Darcy triggered me immensely, Im glad she is dead and died the way she did as well. She was “determined to save him” , and the only reason she wanted a baby was to make that disgraceful man be better which is asinine! Darcy was a disgusting individual.
Biggest Takeaway: I got a lot out of this series, I loved Mozzi and Coast’s relationship the most. The way he came in and became a safe space for her, stepped up for her pregnancy and child, the way he supported her through everything 💕. I have a lot of frustration towards Kong, heavily dislike him and his character as a whole. He made the most ridiculous decisions, used both Nay and Ayla as objects for his personal desires/convenience to both of their detriment. Specifically in this book He vows to find their son , Ayla tells him that the baby is alive and that Mira took him before he killed Mira!!! Why? What sense does that make, why not leverage her life for your child’s whereabouts and then kill her once you have your child safely in your possession. And again, more stupidity when he comes across Emerson and Darcy , he already knew Emerson had dealings with Mira! You see him with a newborn baby and don’t put two and two together right away, especially after revealing the baby was indeed “adopted” and yea he had a hunch , yet moved extremely slow on said hunch. You would think there would be a bit more urgency behind finding out if the child is yours. It leaves me feeling icky about their relationship to be honest. I loved Inari’s son Dane, she did an amazing job with him. I loved Moose having a daughter, Tiara was such a light. Overall this book/series made me feel happy, I enjoy reading about families coming together to build a positive village for all involved.
How This changed my perspective: This book changed my perspective on the whole boyfriend steps in for biological father trope. I never really enjoyed reading stories with this premise in it but the one between Mozzi and Coast made me see it in a positive light.
Would I re-read This Book?: Probably not, simply because it’s a conclusion book. It also wasn’t that exciting, I knew Neo was their son and I knew Ayla wasn’t dead. Still a great story though and final book to the series.

S.L. Partee, please come to the front of the class and take a bow. You did this! I read this complete series in less than five days. Now, I will say my heart dropped to my feet the first part of this installment, and I was sad along with the characters. I was low-key, hoping that the tragedy wasn't true. That is just proof of how well written this series is. I am just going to go down the brothers' hierarchy. I was ecstatic when Kong finally started living in his truth. He let go of the dead weight that was just trying to leech off of him. Once his eyes popped open, he put his foot on the accelerator for Ayla. Oh, and Mr. Moose really did a 180 with cleaning his life up and stepping into a bigger family role. It was refreshing to read. And last but not least Mr. Mozzi grew up as I turned the pages of each book. The way he supported and cared for his wife during her postpartum period was admirable. It was surprising to witness his maturity with Coast. I think she may be more crazy than Moozi, and that's saying a lot. She was quite entertaining when she went on her rages. Let me not forget to mention Miss Ayla, my poor heart, couldn't take it, but her comeback was one for the books.
Ladies and gents, if you haven't taken the opportunity to indulge in this series, what are you waiting on. This a straight-up masterpiece that toys with your emotions. There are so many secrets, plot twists, and ah ha moments you may not believe what you read. I left out so much that happened because I didn't want to give away too many spoilers. Therefore, I am recommending this series to you all. You will most definitely enjoy it.
To the author: Please feel free to give us a holiday novella with the Blackmoor family. I will be one of the first ones to download and read.
I'm so happy for all my Audiemar sons and Audiemar. He himself was trapped in his own secrets and that scandalous Phoebe had been the snake I took her for all the while. Glad he finally freed himself. Moose got himself all the way together and just in time to get his mini me and Inari in order. Inari is a tough cookie, her past made her that way, but Moose, besides the wrong choices involving her, had already embedded himself in her and her son's hearts, so she was not going to win that battle. She was also trying to live without her sister Ayla. Kong quickly admitted to his wrongs, especially his marriage, called her out and put her out. With his heart broken, he tried to put his life together without Ayla but he was on autopilot. All the brothers handled everyone involved but finding Ayla and their baby was paramount. Coast was suffering like some first time mothers. Moxie's love for her never faltered he just added more for baby Rara, but Coast took him only wanting her because of the baby. So wrong she is. Once everyone was able to stop and smell the roses, the family had damn near tripled. And they ain't done yet, cause Desiree dreamt of fish. I loved this as it tied up all the loose ends and leaves no questions. Just happy endings!!!
Ate this book up!!!! I been locked in with this series since book 1 and while I’m sad it’s over I loved every minute of it! Moose was my absolute favorite 😍 I loved the growth in him. I loved how Inari stood on business and didn’t let nobody play in her face. Mozzi and Coast are absolute couple goals! She must’ve asked for Ciara’s prayer cus the way Mozzi showed up and loved on her is everything a girl could ask for. Kong and Ayla deserve every piece of happiness they could possibly get. They balance each other out. Phoebe and Nayelli are real pieces of work. Two golddiggers in scamming pod!! Audiemar wasn’t the bad guy everybody wanted people to think he was. He was really a good man that loved and protected his family. Especially Desiree cus baby she be cuttin up lol. I really enjoyed reading this book. 10/10 highly recommend
Sometimes life events provoke positive change. This series brought out the best of three misfit men that fit so well with the women they loved. When Mozzi first saw Coast, he knew she was it for him. He readily gave up the females he had been rocking with because he knew in his heart Coast was all the woman he needed. And is. When Inari walked into the tattoo shop owned by Moose fussing, he instantly saw beauty, brain, and a challenge. He just needed a little push to fight his demon before he was ready to prove his love. And when Alaya walked into the kitchen, cooking food that melted the hearts of the Blackmoor family, Kong was easily taken by her everything. Each couple met challenges. Each couple had to learn trust. Forgiveness. Love. Patience. All while fighting the external forces that continued to bring them down.
I truly don't know what to say. This whole series til me through there. When I say I cried a little bit throughout this last installment. I appreciated when she touched on the depression Coast was dealing with after giving birth to Iara. Most women deal with that, but don't say anything about it. Mozzi loved her down though and I loved it. To see the support and love the men had for their women were just beautiful. Inari had Moose messed up. He was determined to get her back and I was so happy when she finally gave in. Kong and Ayla had been the underdogs from the beginning. I loved the way he loved her when he got her back. I want to say so much more but don't want to give the book away, lol. All in all it was a GREAT read and banging series!!!
SL Partee baby you did thatttttt!! I fell in love with the Audiemar sons from the first book. I never liked that Moose had that snow blow habit but I’m so glad he learned that Tulla lying ass had his daughter. I absolutely hate what Ayla went through but love when it is real is not perfect but it lasts and it feels past other emotions. That holds true for Coast and Mozzi too. That wasn’t his biological daughter but his baby none the less. I rather some more drastic pain happened to those who wrong this family but at the end of the day their day had to end! Love love love it!
Wow that evil Mira! She took Ayla through it but in the end Kong and his family came through for her and her Sis Inari! Coast dealt with something very familiar to new moms but thru Mozzi and her therapist she made it through only to rnd up with 5 lol! The secrets test came out, the new additions. All of it was so good! I'm glad Audimier found out the truth about that scheming Phoebe and Kong finally found out about Nayella! Hlad Moose hot himself together and found out the truth about Tiara and that heffa Tully! Great series lind of sad to see ot end.
Kong, Moose, and Mozzi did not disappoint in this story. This was a journey of loss, disappointment, and ultimately love. The evolution of each brother throughout this series is definitely something to talk about—especially Moose. While some of their growth took a little longer, I absolutely loved how each man stood ten toes down behind the woman he loved. Ultimately, the ending was so good, and I’m just happy everyone found exactly what they needed….But can we talk about the twist and turns and the secrets revealed…Baby!
This series is so lit. I’m so glad they got my girl, cause I was worried for a min. I’m glad they got all the snakes in the grass gone. I knew tulla was a peace of s***, with the way she was moving. And I love their GMA she is off the chain. People must read this series and more. U did good on yet another book and I’m looking forward to reading more of them. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and while eating popcorn while waiting on the next book to read.
I am glad we got the answers we needed. As I stated this definitely had a lot of moving parts but it was really easy to keep up with. The only thing I am still confused on is who is younger between Mozzi and Moose but it really don't matter. I loved the character development even with Audiemar. I loved his demeanor but the way he treated those grands just made him that much more likeable. Overall this is a good series and wouldn't mind a story with the kids even though it's a bunch of them..
Woooooo Chile! I waited what felt like months for the Finale to drop (it was 3 weeks). That cliffhanger had me in a chokehold. But the wait was worth it! Miss SL Partee did not disappoint. She spun the heck out of that story and brought my man Kong out of the dog house I stuck him in after book 2 (which I angry read btw). Several characters got their redemption and I ate it up!! Coast and Nari tapped my nerve some, especially Nari. but toward the end I got over it. Lots of twists and surprises and the heart palpitations are worth it
This book series was absolutely amazing. The healing journey and the way therapy was woven into the story were beautifully written and felt authentic. I appreciated how the characters’ growth and emotional recovery were portrayed with such depth and care. It was an inspiring, heartfelt series that stayed with me long after I finished reading it. I highly recommend it.
The Sons of Audiemar: The finale was definitely quite the wrap up. Any question I needed answered was absolutely answered. You have to pay attention to details from both book 1 and 2 because they sneak up on you. All in all, them Blackmoor boys got it all and deserved it all too. We probably need a book 3.5 just to brush up on pop’s history, because although named the Sons of Audiemar, he deserves his shine too. 5/5 and unexpectedly spicy 🌶️🥵
This finale really did finale!!! I swear I wanted to cry for the first hour of reading this book!! The author really took her time and put emotions in this book!! Everybody got what was coming to them good or bad!! This book did not miss at all! I think my favorite part was witnessing Mozzi in daddy mode!!!!
This was one neck of a rollercoaster ride.I hate what happened to anyla she didn't deserve that. I'm glad everything worked out for everyone. This was one neck if a crazy ride but I loved this journey. Hope we get a Christmas update so we can find out what they had plus we still got a wedding to have.
Beautiful ending to a beautiful series. It had EVERYTHING!!! I read the whole series in two days. Barely slept. Talk about a ride from start to finish. My first read by this author and it will NOT be the last. The way she tied everyone’s individual stories together with no confusion should be studied. Masterful story telling!
This book was so good. The whole series ROCKED!!!the sons was everything and I loved how everyone was imperfect but perfect. Real life story lines present and n the end the good guys one and the bad ones met their demise. Whew now the shocker was Riddle was Kong biological dad. Loved the whole plot
This series was my introduction to this author, and let me just say, at the beginning I was hesitant because the multiple POVs confused my ADHD a lil🤣🤣 but baybeeeee I am soooo glad I kept going and trusted the process. Absolute must read! I loved that even with all of the craziness it was still so real and relatable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A holiday update then the kids story’s. Each book can be about the siblings and how they navigate young adult hood. Just don’t say the parents are over 40 but don’t look a day over 21.
This series had me invested from beginning to end, and Book 3 did not disappoint. The drama, romance, twists, and emotional moments kept me turning the pages. The characters felt real, and I enjoyed seeing how their story unfolded.
Omg!! Another S.L. Partee banger!! I am going to really miss the Blackmoors and all their extensions. I loved this series and hope to see more of them later. Love me some Mozzi!!! lol
A great ending to a great series. I absolutely loved this series and most of all the characters. S. L you did a great job as usual. I hope we hear from these characters in the future. This is most definitely a must read. I highly recommend it.
This series was great…I was happy Audiemar finally saw Phoebe for the snake she really was…Inari and Moose finally got their act together…Ayla and Kong got their happily ever after…Mozzi and Coast are still going strong, still crazy as ever and for each other…Job well done!!!
It took everything in me not to read the spoilers on FB and I’m glad I didn’t. I knew you wouldn’t kill my girl off and I’m so glad they all got their happy ending! I loved this series and I hope we get a spin off 👀
This story was absolutely beautiful and everything I could not imagine. There were a lot of ups and downs but everything came together perfectly in my eyes. Thank you so much for this.💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐
I loved everything about it I couldn't put it down i yelled at the book got mad at the book but couldn't put it down each book gave me a different emotion with the twist and turns all I can say is THATS THE WAY TO TELL A STORY just loved it!!!!!
