Author of over eighty books so far. Living on the beautiful west coast of Scotland with my husband, twin daughters and a cat called Mavis, although I am originally from Lancashire in the north of England.
My tastes in all things are eclectic, which extends to my writing. Although I primarily write crime books - especially gangland thrillers - I also write gothic historical romance and fantasy. I publish on Amazon Kindle and some of my novels are available in paperback too. I also have a traditional publishing contract with Boldwood Books.
When I'm not writing - which isn't very often - I enjoy reading Daphne Du Maurier, Edgar Allan Poe, Shirley Jackson, MR James and the Brontes, among many others. I also enjoy swimming, walking and spending time with my family.

Love me some Brodie & crew
12 books deep and still wanting more, thats testament to Heather Atkinson and her ability to write a series of books so intriguing, funny, gripping, intense & amazing that i read one after the other in about 2 weeks and then had to wait a painstaking amount of time for this one. That gave me time to read all her other books though and I've now worked my way through her whole collection. I actually loved this one, Brodie was of course Star of the show. I did miss his usual antics with Roger but I do understand why he couldn't be in this one other than a small part which, still made me laugh. Ending the book on a cliffhanger has sent me west lol now I'm going to be on tenterhooks waiting for the next one

Breathtakingly brilliant!
Phew! What a rollercoaster this book was. Absolutely superb from start to finish. At times I forgot to breathe due to the thrills and fast paced action. Cannot wait for the next instalment. I probably say this about every “Brodie” book but this one was my favourite so far. Please Heather don’t ever stop writing about Brodie and his team. I can’t get enough!
