Paperglass was my favorite.

This was such an amazing story. I was hooked from the first chapter. Each character completely different from the other. Jonah tries to help this girl who was left on his porch, and the connections he makes actually make a difference. He takes it slow nurturing her back to health, and they start trusting him. Nadya is amazing she comes in no questions asked and immediately begins comforting this young girl. I can’t wait to see what the next installment brings.
I definitely will be reading more of this authors work. 10/10 recommend.

It starts with a bang. Forcing to you read on. Ask question - Who, why. The protagnisht names the characher Sara as he thinks it suits her. Goes with her physicality. This is how he defines her - No one names anyone Gertrude any more and Rachel seemed too plain. Sera was just right. It's about walking in the shoes of someone who has been hurt. Hurt bad. Now recovery is a two way process. It will take as much from the healer as it would from the patient. It's very picky as it tries to disect every reaction, or even the absence of it when Jonan is with Sera. Quite an intimate read on reflections and situational understanding.

The premise is, without a doubt, the book's strongest point. The beginning creates an atmosphere of tension and mystery that immediately sparks curiosity, and the situation of the young woman found on Jonan Beck's doorstep raises countless questions that encourage you to keep reading. The work relies on a very emotional and intimate approach to develop this story, exploring themes such as trauma, trust, and reconstruction.
