The Chemistry of Dancing

Rate this book
One lonely scientist + one sexy dancer + one dance competition for the ages = love!

Clay Bickel is a renowned scientist, who has spent his life dedicated to his field. He hasn't really had the time to consider dating, let alone finding a guy who would be interested in him.

Along comes the new dancing competition show Gayly Dancing, and in turn, his very sexy, very available dancing partner Nash Denning. Through the weeks, as Nash helps him find the dancer hidden inside him, Clay realizes that there's more to him than just his brain. He has a heart too, and it's quickly being stolen by his partner.

He totally didn't expect any of this.

Due to mature sexual content, this book is for adults 18+ only.

I really enjoyed this story, I love the concept of a gay version of dancing for the stars, and with the "celebrity" being a renowned scientist, not a TV star, or sports personality etc, it added interest to the concept of the TV show and my interest in the book. The immediate attraction between the two men carries on through the weeks of the TV show and their relationship develops as the show progresses. A really lovely story and one, as a fan of Strictly, I could well imagine - would love to see this version of the show though!

To sweet

Good concept. The execution though was so sweet and not in any good way, it made my teeth hurt. I would have liked it much more if one MC hadn't treated the other MC like a 5 year half the time. And if they didn't talk to each other like high schoolers. When I roll my eyes from the dialog that means I am getting pulled from the story and while there were moments of ok, I overall can't give this story more then a 2. I really think it only deserves 1 1/2 stars but...
