Het idee van dit boek is echt zó leuk en goed. 2 zielen die elkaar in elk leven opnieuw tegenkomen. Ook de plottwist en het einde vond ik heel goed, maar helaas werd het hele boek naar beneden gehaald door de hoeveelheid flashbacks naar andere tijden en locaties het had.
Dit werd zoveel dat ik dus ook heel lang heb gedaan over het boek, wat ik heel jammer vond aangezien ik het daardoor ook niet op tijd uit had voor de boekenclub. Daarna wel afgemaakt, maar niet helemaal happy ermee. Het had zoveel beter kunnen zijn.

I loved the diversity of the characters as they explored their past lives, it was engaging to read the various times and the lives they had lived and grown through. The story itself was unique - definitely very interesting with the topic of past lives and tethers that bind us. There were aspects of it I found a bit drab leading to the build up but I understand the necessary impact it had on the rest of the story. Cute read though ☺️
