I love the cover. It's hot and attention grabbing.
But that cannot be said of the book/novelette.

We get binge sex and some lovey-dovey scenes to make up for what we were deprived of in the primary book. But the rest leaves a sour taste. I wish the author had let the infamous scene/act rest and not bring it up in this way. Even if the h is not present, it's quite clear that everyone knows of the h's degradation/humiliation. I don't care if this new ass-h* gets his ass whipped but the damage is permanent.
And the H still does not kick his bff's ass - he's the real dipshit. A cheating politician who's celebrating his divorce and calling his long suffering wife a bitch. Poor female endured more than anyone should. And still the H is friends with this lowlife.

I hope there's more after this #1.5 that resolves the H's family, brother and bff issues once and for all.

It was so great to catch up with one of my very favourite couples, Dominic and Eden. They are still together and forgiveness and redemption has shaped Dominic into the man that Eden wants to spend her life with. He is loving and vulnerable and is not afraid to show this side of himself to Eden, which I loved. He is also remorseful of how he treated her in the past. However, he still has some darkness in him when you talk trash about his wife then you better look out because you will get yours!!

This book is so good! For those of us who have been asking for more of the Monster, Dominic Armstrong, we got him! This was a completely different Dominic. He was a true work in progress, as Eden described him, but he was also a true husband who loves his wife. Francette Phal can write her tush off and the woman can weave that hot, sensuality effortless. I need to thank her for this novella follow up to one of my favorite couples of hers. There was a part that had me clutching my pearls, it was so hot. I had to take a pause before returning. *waves face* Loved it! Loved it!

What a teaser!!!

This is soooooo erotic and short..very short..Dom and Eden's story continues..wish it was longer. But I'll read almost anything by Ms. Phal. I hope this teaser leads to another novelette....i am sure the Ethan Blake character would want to seek revenge for getting his ass kicked by Dom...oh well enjoy!

LOVED IT. but i find it a tad too short (what do you expect, it'a a novella, duh...) Scorching hot! but their love for each other and their marriage is just so endearing and sweet. Dominic the working progress husband & lover to Eden, finally realised and appreciated what he was gifted by his second chance for love with Eden and their baby son Liam. I NEED MORE LIAM's storytime please Francette Phal. and that deeply satisfying feeling when he threw the first punch at the douche bag for insulting Eden and finally saying goodbye to his so-called 'friend' Bruce. die just die bruce & ethan! scum of the earth both of them.

A quick read that solidified my love for Dom. He turned out to be an amazing man. I love F. Phal's writing. I normally hate novels in 3rd person, but her writing negates the disconnection that I have when normally reading those types of books. F. Phal's character are always intense and multi-layered. But her strong heroines always stop the show. Can't get enough of her stories!

this erotic novelette continues the relationship of Dominic and Eden (Monster). Dominic is no longer the monster from the first book. We find him as a loving husband and Father. He loves Eden without pride, without reservation and completely.

Eden forgives Dominic for the horrible things he did to her but he now needs to forgive himself.

Addendum to Monster

Nothing much happens in this short story. We catch up with Eden and Dominic down the road a bit. Dominic is still putting in the work he needs in order to be a good husband and father. We find that the mayor is still making poor choices. Dominic”s past treatment of Eden comes back to haunt them for a brief moment. It was nice catching up.

Loved it!

This little snippet into Dominic and Eden was well worth it especially the spiciness in the bedroom. I definitely have to go back and read the entire novel because this was just a teaser and I need more of Dom and Eden. This was my first read from this author and definitely not my last she has been on my TBR for a while I can’t wait for more

The ending left a lot to be desired. It was too loose. A lazy ending. I will even suggest for you not to read this extra storyline, nothing that is really important happens. Just sex and self pleasuring descriptions. Just read the main book.

Which is not necessarily a bad thing...if that's what you're looking for.

I think this book was well written. I have no complaints in the grammar, spelling, or "flow" departments. However, it was a bit wordy in most parts. I found myself skipping through some parts. The reason I only gave it two stars is because I absolutely HATE when an author makes up drama for the sake of just having conflict and that is what Ethan Blake was. I know in this day and age of reality tv that people think that without drama there is no entertainment, but that is simply untrue. Unless you merely needed to increase the word count, this book would have been just as good without it.

Nice little check in with one of my favorite couples. I love me some Dominic, so I was too excited to be able to spend more time with him. The growth in both Dominic and Eden was great to see. As much as I love Dom, I was glad that Eden didn't just take him back, but she (or he) is making him get the help that he needs to tame the monster inside of him so he can be the man that both Eden and Liam need him to be. I love him even more now.

This book is HOT!!! Franchette Phal left very little to the imagination with this one - and I appreciate her for it! Off now to search for that pearl thong... :-)

Lick & Devour is a great look at how Dominic and Eden are working to rebuild their broken marriage. You can't help but love how strong eden has become and able to stand up for what she feels is right for her and her son. Dominic is one hell of a alpha male and knows how to really make love to his woman. This is a very short story, but worth the read. Make sure you read the book Monster first. There is lots of sex and heat between these lovebirds. You can read this book in a hour, if nothing gets in your way. P.S. keep a cold drink on hand.!! ( Smiling ) !!

This is a very short novelette in the Monster series. I didn't even know this book was out but I'm so glad I stumbled upon it because I love Eden & Dominic. Eden is quite successful with her real estate business but that doesn't stop her from missing Dominic, who has been away on business for two weeks & has informed her he will be gone for another two weeks. Her & their son are really missing him, she is especially at night that's when she gets out her B.O.B. to help her relax & sleep. But Dominic has a big surprise in store for Eden !

Great and erotic just how Dom and Eden can bring it!! I'm not surprised his kinky ass had surveillance cameras in the bedroom lol!! And I would've did more than punch and kick Ethan's tired ass if I was Dom. Bruce is a grade A fuckboy who deserved for Cassie to wipe him dry trifling ass!! I'm glad Dom changed so much and going to therapy, and not kicking Bruce ass too for talking shit behind his back!

I looked forward to reading this, because I enjoyed reading Monster so much. It was a good, quick read. I will say that since I've read some good books with natural dialogue and descriptions, that I roll my eyes when authors are too wordy or overly descriptive with their dialogue and descriptions.

It was an okay read. I eagerly anticipate reading the next book to Flawed.
