The title fits perfectly as it is indeed my first german book that i have read. Very good for learners. Came across some tricky phrases and words but that is expected if you are a beginner! Sehr gutes Buch!

It's a cute little book, but I'm not sure how effective it would be in actually teaching anyone German. It was a little neat to see the story of "Little Red Riding Hood" in German at the end.

This is a great little book for teaching kids German, even with some of the old language, such as carriage and wagon, until you get to the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Both the grandmother and LRR are eaten by the wolf, as in the original story. However, the woodcutter comes and kills the wolf with his axe, as in the French version of the story, but the grandmother and LRR do not emerge. The end. haha

Un libro pequeño en alemán e inglés perfecto para empezar a aprender el idioma. El vocabulario es simple y te ayuda mucho para aprender a usar adjetivos y empezar a familiarizarte con frases sencillas.

Poco a poco aumenta de nivel y termina con el cuento de Caperucita roja.

Really good for learning German. But probably the spellings are little bit different to modern German.

Es ist einfach und unbeschwert. Es ist ein sehr gutes Buch für junge Kinder und Deutschlerner (wie mich), oder beide.

Ein wenig ungeeignet für "allererstes Deutsches Büchlein" zu sein, ne? Otherwise a rather good (and convenient) read for intermediate learners. Quite a good idea to have German and English sentences next to each other; no time wasted looking up meanings of words from dictionaries.
