There are a number of excellent reviews of this book, including a smattering of spoilers, so I’ll keep this short.
Terrific story, solid character development between husband and wife, with a few unilateral decisions and surprises along the way. No cuckolding. The last night with Carlos and friends was Off The Charts!
I really like the introspection in this book, both husband and wife: what are they doing, where are they going, how does this end?
I wouldn’t call this a cliffhanger, after some 180 pages, it’s a logical place to pause. Yet there are a lot of threads to pick up: Dana’s apparent termination of the break, Carlos and friends, Dave trying to figure out where he is and Jana?
Heads-up: This book is set in the early 2010s. There is some limited sharing of hard drugs. This was before the drug supply became thoroughly tainted and dealers cared whether their clients lived. I was ok with it in the timeframe and as part of the experimentation, but I think it’s worth mentioning.
I’m somewhat glad I’m reading this now so I can drive into Book 3. I don’t think I could have waited for it to be published.
Definitely 5 Stars.

The second book in the series and this one is hotter than the first. Dana and Dave have opened up their marriage and now they are trying learning how to fit their life's into the lifestyle. As with any change, there are rough spots that they need to figure out. Two of the major challenges are how to involve the husband, the cuckold, when he isn't actually there and how add this new lifestyle and not loose the life they have enjoyed up to now.
For the first challenge the author falls back on her normal crutch (technology). The second challenge, Dana and Dave are finding it isn't so easy to mix the two. Dave and Dana's hotwife relationship continues to evolve. Dana has two repeat lovers, whom she sees without asking permission. Dave has built her an apartment where she can bring her lovers. The story alternates between the spouses' points of view. I'm enjoying these developments seen through both pairs of eyes and the periodic assessments of emotions they provoke. I'm looking forward to the third book in the series.

Hot Sex, But Tension City Is Building Up
As with the first book in this series, I’m reading it in the combined version of all three books. But like before I just finished this part of the story, so thought I’d give my impression so far.
I know that I’ve said before that I don’t like reviewing a series until I can read all of it, but like some others, with the authors of this tale I just can’t imagine that the third volume will be bad and want to make me say in the beginning that this story is not worth reading.
So here goes my review.
It’s still a great read. Our couple has started down the road of his fantasy of hotwifing his gorgeous wife. They started slowly but both of them were having such a good time that they kept on going deeper and deeper.
The movement to go further and further was not so subtly driven by both of them. The problem is that they have not really discussed what they are doing and how do they want to proceed, now and in the future. Each one tells themselves about concerns that they have, but stupidly they don’t do a good job of talking to each other about their desires and worries.
Is there any doubt that they reach a crossroads and still can’t discuss it. What kind of relationship can they maintain without agreement about where, how and when should a relationship outside of their marriage exist. Is there no doubt that it will start to eat away at their own marriage relationship.
As happens in many hotwife stories the wife finds an unbelievable lover. Someone who takes her places that her sexuality has never been before. Of course she’s drawn to him, sexual pleasure is a strong force.
Her lover takes her so far that she busts through all of her well established guidelines and yet she doesn’t seem to know enough to sit and discuss it with her husband, before further embarking on it.
He’s no better as he can’t believe how sexual she has become and how much she’s beginning to satisfy his sexual fantasy. Unfortunately, even when they agree to take a break, neither one can start a conversation with the other.
A quick aside, whenever a partner is satisfying a sexual fantasy of the other, I feel that they carry the responsibility to make sure they have complete openness and agreement. Remember the other partner is living in a fantasy, it’s your responsibility to remain grounded and if you can’t do that, you shouldn’t start living in their fantasy world as well.
But of course if everyone did that we wouldn’t have tension filled stories, now would we.
There’s more than enough tension, some realized and much is not, no certainly enough to make me want to jump into the third and final book.

I enjoyed the book, but like with many sequels for me, not as much as the first one. Don't get me wrong it is well written and lots of hot yummy sexxy parts but the first one just seemed to flow better. I suppose maybe it is me as I really enjoy reading about a wife beginning to explore her sexual freedom and in this one Dana is already there. I still rate it highly and if and when I another chapter of the story comes out which I think is a definitely possibility I will be there to buy and read. It is definitely a good bed time read!

This is really a 4 5 story because it dragged a little over the final two or three chapters. But prior to that it was fantastic.
Hot story of Dave and Dana travelling deeper into the hotwife lifestyle. It's well paced and contains mostly enjoyable scenarios. Only thing I wasn't fond of was the cocaine use and wish the Jay story was different.
Kirsten is so good at building anticipation. She's a great erotic author for my preferred type of story.

The hotwife and her voyeur/cuckold husband's addiction to 'Hot Dates' gets out of control & leads hotter & hotter encounters, limits are tested and pushed aside.
Well written erotica the series is a must read for fans of the hotwife, cuckolding and voyeur genre, can't wait to read part 3!!!

As the title suggests this is the second in the Hot Dates series featuring sexy Hotwife Dana and her kinky husband Dave. The couple continue to search out ever more thrilling escapades, Dave continues to get his fix of watching his wife with new men via the special video camera device concealed in a key fob which Dana carries with her on her Hot dates. This book is interesting as it tells the story from the perspective of both Dana and Dave. Things get very heated when Dana hooks up with dangerous cop Carlos. Dave provides a special house for Dana’s escapades complete with loads of hidden cameras for his voyeuristic pleasure. On the whole an enjoyable book which was pretty well written, maybe their could have been a little more conflict between husband and wife to add spice to the story, but to be fair both Dana and Dave have pretty much been on the same page since they started, their games just got increasingly hotter and dangerous. I thought the drug taking was a bit unnecessary, not the kind of thing you would expect from a man who is supposed to uphold the law, maybe the author was just trying to be cool. Cleverly Kirsten McCurren leaves it open for another book, could there be a hot dates 3? Dana is certainly sexy enough for more men in her life and Dave is just as eager to watch them ravish his wife.

I've enjoyed McCurran books in the past, including the first Hot Dates story. McCurran's main characters, Dave and Dana, are an intriguing and sexy couple. Their relationship is solid, and this story picks up after Dana has accepted Dave's special "quirk"--he enjoys his wife having sex with other men. Dave watches through hidden video cams, and the plot of this book revolves around Dana's escalating "hot wife" life and how the couple caters to and deals with this lifestyle. McCurran's plot is more erotic than episodic slam-bang scenes, although there are plenty of sexual scenes. But the plot bubbles along with Dana and Dave playing the game and also feeling their way deeper into it. Both have concerns, which they reveal more to the reader in alternating narratives than they reveal to each other. Their increasing tensions both fuel Dana's affairs (they are more than just dates by the end) and her and Dave's relationship at home. This book's conclusion is troubled by trying to both tie up this plot and create a cliffhanger for the third book is clearly in the future. There's more cliffhanger than conclusion here, but it's still satisfying overall. A solid second book in the series.

A very compelling and complicated story. Not a straight up HW/Cuckold. There is a lot going on. The Wife really gets into the fooling around and the husband seems to be obsessed. I can't see a lot of good in the future for this couple. He seems to be enjoying the watching more than he enjoys sex with his wife. And she has decided to unilaterally end a mutual time-out to the playing.
All that said, I'm really looking forward to part three. I hope things work out, I like the characters, but I'm not betting on it.

Great story! Loved it.
I really enjoyed the story. The sexual parts were very erotic and exciting, but you get a real story with this one. The characters were great with their own feelings, motivations, pitfalls.
The husband encouraged his wife to date other men, but becomes insecure when she starts to enjoy her new freedom. If Dave wants to give Dana the freedom to date other men, he needs to be prepared for the consequences and stop trying to control her and let nature take its course. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Book two in this three book set and a worthy follow up to the first. This is a true hotwire tale with no cuckolding involved. Husband Dave has a fantasy and desire for his wife to be a hotwife and pushes her hard in that direction. Reluctant at first, Dana starts in and during book two jumps in with both feet. Dave learns what that's like and by the end is beginning to wonder if he has created a monster. Lots of sex as well as introspection from both husband and wife. Looking forward to see how t sorts out in the climax in book three.

I have enjoyed a few of Kirsten's stories recently and was think that it would be nice if she listed the books in a series simular to https://www.goodreads.com/series/list.... This would make it much easier to follow the series. Just a thought.
