Rate this book
Lucas can’t believe what has happened to his friends. MM now has half of the Six, leaving the rest to scramble for a new plan.

Just when they need him most, Harris leaves them behind to make one final attempt to bring down Marcus. What he finds rocks him to the core, and leaves Vanar closer to extinction than anyone thought possible.

Burning cities, world-wide chaos, possible genocide . . . just a few of the obstacles standing in their way. Even if the Six can find their way back to each other, will they recognize what they’ve become? Boundaries and morals will be pushed, lives will be altered and ended. The Six must continue to fight because the end is fast approaching.

After harrowing adventures on a variety of dysfunctional worlds, and epic battles with Marcus’s MM army, the Preston Six find themselves separated; three trapped in an alternate Los Angeles overrun by zombies, while the remaining three valiantly struggle to find and rescue them. In the meantime, Harris has left them behind as he makes a last-ditch effort to bring Marcus down. While the three endure immense hardships on their journey to LA, Harris finds desolation at every stop.

Fall of the Six by Matt Ryan, the third book in the Preston Six series, continues the adventures of six children, part of a bizarre experiment, born on the same day, and bound together by secrets that they struggle in vain to learn. While the battles are the same as in the first two books, readers will learn of the changes in the six as they learn more about each other, and themselves.

I received a free copy of this book. I give it four stars.

Great book!

I couldn't put this book down! I love the story line and can't wait to see what happens with these poor kids who have been dealt a bad hand in life. Great story, great plot, and great characters! This author is very good at what he does and has a great imagination! I enjoyed all of these books so far, very, very much!

Just gets better and better

I am loving this series! The kids(?) have grown so much, done so much, been through so much...and Harris? He just keeps plugging along, almost indestructible, almost.
Emmett is gone (I think) Alice has been neutralized, but the elusive Marcus is still loose somewhere on some world. Me thinks the action is just starting to heat up.

Fall of the Six definitely slowed down after the last book. Don't get me wrong, the story line was just as griping, but I expected more from our heroes at this point because of everything they've been through. You may think I'm asking a lot considering but there is just more we as an audience need to know. Matt Ryan has captivated our attention with Poly, has peeked our interest with Lucas and everything going on with him, and then there's Joey and his special abilities. But there is simply so much more to develop. Hank and Samantha are points of view we have not seen yet, and I for one think Hank would have a fantastic inner monologue.
We saw the beginning of their rolls in the first book as they were walking into Watcher's Woods: Joey has his guns, Julie has technology, Lucas has archery, Poly has knives, Hank has brute strength... and then there's Samantha. I am still waiting for more to be done with her. I'm almost expecting her character to turn evil and betray them based on how helpless she is, and because It's only a matter of time before Samantha's character develops too, and I cannot wait to see that.

The 3rd book of the series of 6 (yes, there will be 3 more books soon)
The six teenagers finally found each other and then have to be divided again to save the world.
It is surprisingly better than what I expected.
Still full of action, adventure and romance. You'll never guess who will Joey choose between Samantha and Poly.
In the end, it will make you ask for more adventure. I wish for more scenes in Ryjack, more scenes with Alice, more scenes with Travis, with Max and with their parents.

Update: I think my wish has been granted with 3 more books with the 4th coming in a few weeks :)

Have just finished the first 3 books in the series and I found that they all kept me entertained and found that once I got started I had to keep reading until I was finished. Now I can't wait to get the rest of the series and find out what happens. If you like action and science fiction you will love these books hope the author writes more like them.

Should be the next teen movie series...

This book picked up where it left off from the second book. Still has the fast paced-action packed-thriller storyline that is a true page turner. Can't wait for the Preston Six's next adventure and what Samantha has in store. A must read teen series.

What another fun ride!

As we continue from book 3, we find the six plus Harris stool apart and on separate worlds. Between them still lie Marcus and Emmett. The Six stay strong as the work towards reuniting, against many obstacles, 2 planets are basically destroyed and the fate of the Six continues on in Book 4, where I am off to.

O.m.g.! I'm so incredibly happy with Joey's choice!! I won't ruin it for people who haven't read this yet but I really enjoyed this book and in my opinion it's even better than the last two. I need to read the next in the series for sure!

While I really liked books 1 and 2, I think 3 fell a little flat. Still worth the read, though.
