In Let's Talk About Tickling, author Veronica Frances opens up a fun discussion that takes the reader on a journey to explore, release, and enjoy the sensual pleasure of tickling.

Instead of providing the reader with a stuffy clinical dissertation, she engages the reader in a straightforward discussion about the variety of aspects of tickling, while intertwining it with her own personal experiences as a tickle fetishist.

The power of tickling has a far reach if you allow yourself to be open to what it has to offer. Tickling can be arousing, a stress reliever, provide amusement and laughter, and a relationship catalyst to demonstrate how we can express ourselves sexually and romantically with our partner.

The author thoughtfully dispels the common thought of fetishes, especially tickling as taboo and misunderstood in society. She provides examples of how engaging in tickling can release your inner child, and become a thoroughly pleasurable and fulfilling bonding experience via: tickling sessions; verbal tickle triggers and tickle talk; fantasies and role play; romantic tickling, foreplay, and erotic touching; and using it as a gateway to sex through erotic arousal, exploration, and seduction. And if that isn't enough, she provides interesting suggestions of twenty-one tickling techniques (she calls it the 21 shades of tickling), and a variety of tickling games to explore with your tickle buddy.

Let's Talk About Tickling is an intriguing and fast-paced book. If read with an open mind, the reader's curiosity about what tickling is, and why it can be so arousing and pleasurable, can surely add to one's sensuality and sexual experience.

Let's Talk About Tickling is about exactly what the title suggests. Now self-help books are not my thing especially ones about tickling. But the author Frances has asked me to review this for her after I enjoyed her erotic romance Tickling Daphne H. I have to say, I found myself enjoying this more than I thought. It is the same way I felt after reading Tickling Daphne H. I am a pretty open minded person and I am very happy I took the plunge and gave this book a go.

Now in Tickling Daphne H, Frances did a great job writing a very sexy book about a fetish I didn't even know existed. Now in this book, it is taking the same subject and giving you a very in depth look into what it is and how enjoyable it can be. I really love Frances work. It takes me out of my comfort zone, to say the least, but I never feel uncomfortable. She makes it easy to understand the fetish and how well it can fit into your life. I love how detailed she is and it covers everything. Well, the different levels of the fetish. Like how it is not really about sex. I never thought about it being a turn on, but this book has made it make sense.

Overall, even if this isn't your sort of read, I still recommend this book. Frances is a very thoughtful writer and it shows. She has a great talent for engrossing her audience through humor, openness, and experience. Frances is definitely a voice I didn't expect to find, but I am very happy I did. This is definitely worth checking out.

When you pick up a book , sometimes it will be the cover you are attracted to and sometimes it will be the title or the blurb/ content of the book that attracts you to read it , as you sit to yourself thinking hmm that sounds interesting. For me, it was the latter with Veronica Frances's book "Let's Talk about Tickling" . Ok, so we all know what tickling is as we grow up we are often tickled by our parents and then as we go through primary school by our friends. Now don't get freaked out, but with the whole fifty shades fetishes going on and also after reading Quirks and Kinks, I was curious and apparently tickling is a huge fetish. Though to be honest, it confuses me as I find tickling either painful if the person doesn't do it correctly or it's just damn annoying but some people get aroused by tickling and it is their sexual fantasy preference. Veronica Frances's book goes into the depths of the sexual fantasy and kink of tickling and talks about it in detail of what attracts people to it and why they simply enjoy it. A refreshing and very welcome find, Let’s Talk About Tickling is for anyone who wishes to expand their awareness of tickling and other related fetishes as their are snippets of other sexual fetishes inside. Veronica Frances offers advice in helping toimprove their relationships in and out of the bedroom by shining a light on the powerful significance of tickling. She reminds us that tickling is not merely the whisper of a feather on the flesh. It is an echo that calls us from deep within, beckoning us to listen and respond.Whether you are one of those closet ticklers or like me are curious into reading about this side of sex and fantasies as after the whole fifty shades phenomenon it has opened my eyes to a whole range of fetishes , most I never knew existed - not that any of them are my cup of tea though as I find the whole fetish experience weird and odd , I personally am pretty satisfied with Vanilla myself. Let's Talk about Tickling is a great resource for sex therapists or even authors who are thinking of writing erotica fiction and wanting to explore ideas for their novel of different fetishes and kinks that exist.

When I was asked to review this book it didn't click that this was a non-fiction. I don't typically read those books.

So please keep that in mind while you read this review.

I thought the quality of the writing itself was some of the best I've read all year. This author wrote very cleanly and there wasn't any moments of confusion or potential for confusion for readers I thought.

However with all those positives ... this just wasn't the book for me. I feel like I learned a lot and def don't regret spending my time reading it. I just really got the confirmation that I am not a non-fiction kinda gal.

Overall I'm going to give this 4 stars. I really think the writing quality was good and I think if non-fiction was my thing this would be a slam dunk. But since it isn't my thing I just cant give it 5 stars.
