Well, my name is Ravyn Karasu. I chose the name for myself years ago as a play on words. Ravyn, as in the bird, raven, and Karasu after the Japanese word for crow. Get it? Even after all these years, I still enjoy the name.
I was born in Cape May, New Jersey on April 30, 1982. I knew I wanted to write stories since I was four years old and I’ve worked really hard my whole life to improve and become the best writer I could possibly be. It was my dream to be published and to publish many novels one day.
I published my debut novel "Akhetaten's Gates" in 2008, following up in 2014 with more titles.
I currently live in North Carolina where I am always working on something writing-related, be it artwork, writing, editing, researching, or brainstorming.

This book is interesting and well written To me this book made me think a bit on things but is a good read my faveorite part is the Coyote i feel you will enjoy this book!
I absolutely love this story and find it to be one of my 2 most favorites by this author. I love the mane characters, as for the title character. He feels to me, a lot closer to the Coyote of Native American flak lore then what the anther had probably intended him to be. Which I honestly think is cool. In short, this is a great book and more people should read it.
It can be a fun story full of myth, nature, and stories. A mystery, a journey, and the main character is a little girl. The calm and wild of the story is broken by what she needs to confront in her hometown and how she confronts the issue she tries to solve that others before her failed at.
