The story book talks about Tansen, the musical gem in Akbar's court. From imitating animal sounds to igniting a fire with his song - Tansen's genius was unmatched. His voice was so much in demand that wily patrons used it to gain political advantage. Such a talent could win loyal friends and a beautiful wife, but it could also make others viciously jealous. In Emperor Akbar's court, he was a jewel and remains to this day a shining symbol of classical Indian music.
This comic book on Tansen is utterly beautiful. The illustrations are precious like gems, and the pleasure of reading it is better than watching a movie...I read this while listening to amjad Ali khan's sarod music. That made me feel the heart of every piece of drawing, and to know the atmosphere of the comic book. I loved this book!!!!
