Another nostalgia read, but this one did not disappoint!!
Was Ed Wicke a pseudonym for C.S. Lewis? I kept wondering that while reading.
The writing was in the style of Chronicles of Narnia & I cant believe this didn’t do as well as that because it’s just as good!!
Anyway, the writing, the plot, the characters— everything was spot on. Loved this!! Wonderful, wonderful book! Enjoyable for both kids & adults!

Should be far more famous. Absolutely charming and hearty, wholesome and warm, fanciful and wonderful and whimsical.

my dad bought me this book. and though it is quite the usual fantasy. theres something about the story of jezebel and ahab and elijah and the other characters in the book. that goes deeper onto symbolisim. was ahab jezebels crow/raven?

Fun little fantasy for kids. Obviously inspired by Narnia (though nowhere near as good), what with the premise and the religious bits.
