Another action-packed Michael Flint adventure!

Michael Flint works as a PI with Katie Scarlett and Alonzo Drake at Scarlett Investigations. Scarlett received a mystery USB drive with a photo she’d been trying to source for two days. When she gave it up for the night to head home, she found an intruder in her secure parking garage. The intruder managed to escape with Scarlett’s SUV with her phone and bag in it using a flashbang. Scarlett was able to track her phone and SUV and disabled the vehicle a few miles from her office. She retrieved the SUV and went to Flint’s house to confer on what just took place.

Scarlett shows Flint what was on the USB drive: a video of a private jet exploding. The plane had 3 pilots as well as Craig and Nancy Keane aboard: all four declared dead. There was also an old photo of initials carved into a tree that Scarlett and Nora Weiss carved when they were at the foster child Lazy M ranch. More questions at this point than answers. While she and Flint were pondering the information they had and didn’t have, Scarlett received a call from the mystery person who had the USB drive and photo delivered to her. She wanted to meet in person at a place only Scarlett would know about. She asked for Scarlett’s help and indicated only three people were on the private jet that exploded in the video.

Flint suddenly went on high alert, noticing a slow-moving vehicle going down his street. He snuck out of his house and went up to the car and approached the man who was watching his house. He disarmed the man and went inside the house, finding out that Cody Patterson was a retired police officer looking for his missing twin brother.

Now Flint and Scarlett must find out if all these mysteries are tied together somehow or are separate from each other – one big coincidence. Not very likely in their line of work. Follow the path Scarlett, Flint their partner, Drake, and Patterson take to unwind these mysteries.

Unputdownable!

Once again, Capri writes another knockout of a book. We visit Michael Flint and his boss Katie Scarlett as they have to unravel a mystery connected to a USB showing a small plane being blown up midair. Who was actually on the plane? Who sent the USB to Scarlett? Who is trying to kill them, again and again? It seems to be connected back to when Scarlett was in a foster home and a certain friend she had at the time. Ride along as they travel across the country and overseas to figure out the shadowy conspiracy as the story just amps up higher and higher. A fantastic thrill ride.
