Cozy Dubois (they/them) thought writing fiction was a long-lost hobby. A longtime lover of romance novels, Cozy has renewed their love for writing by telling stories for and about LGBTQ+ people. Cozy DuBois has done it again. They have given readers a gorgeous story with incredible characters that capture the heart and mind from page one. Earthly Ties is a sapphic, speculative fiction following Lucy and Esther, professors of Philosophy and bruised souls without real connection. I love the rich development of both of these women and the relationship that forms between them. The book is full of multiple types of representation important to story. It's coming soon and you shouldn't miss it!

I got the book early through Kickstarter.

I loved this book! I honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I love how the author handled so many difficult topics. It made me feel things and reflect on aspects of my own life, but it never felt like a slog or like too much of a downer because it was balanced with the characters care for each other and how they learned to care about themselves.

I love speculative fiction. This book is wonderful. The themes, the energies, the mesmerizing main characters and their character' growth. What a beautiful creative story. Love this author, will be reading from them again ❤️
