Find out how the series ends with Ascension, book 4 of The Shapeshifter Chronicles.
Haunted by nightly terrors, nineteen-year-old Chance Morgan feels the painful scars left behind by the shapeshifter sickness. The unwelcome voices may be gone, but nothing can erase the memories. Ashamed of his actions, he must face the people he hurt most as he struggles to forgive himself.
While Chance battles his demons, his fiancée Ana Hughes focuses on his rehabilitation and the disappearance of her friend Ryan. With her attentions elsewhere, she begins to have memories from an ancient time, and she fears their implications.
When Ana discovers the source of the visions, she unmasks a primeval enemy and learns that her time in this world is coming to an end. As Chance fights to change her fate, Ana realizes that no matter how hard he tries, her destiny may already be written in the stars.
USA Today bestselling author Natasha Brown's imagination has always been a distraction. The books she read in the dark past bedtime fed her excitement for fantasy worlds. Once she started writing, there was no stopping her. By day, Natasha’s an assistant teacher at an elementary school, and by night she’s a book cover designer. Her weekends are spent writing and spending time with family.
This was a wonderful ending to the Shapeshifter Chronicles. Ana and Chance's story was wrapped up beautifully, and all of my questions were answered. The author did a wonderful job of filling in all of the necessary background story throughout the story via conversations and memories, rather than dumping all of the information at the beginning of the book like a summary.
I have been following this series since the first book came out, and each book has been better than the last. I love this series, and these two characters, so much. They touch my heart and my soul.
What a wonderful ending to the Shapeshifter Chronicles!!! Natasha wrapped up everyone's story very well and left no question unanswered, no stone un-turned!
Some of the story lines hit me right in the feels. Ryan! JORDAN!!!!!!! I loved how Natasha took Ana's story and brought it full circle. Wonderful! Ana and Chases' love is so wonderful and pure.
A beautiful read, had me gripped like velcro. The antagonist is a bit meh, but Ana has a new danger to fear. However it does come out of the blue, and towards the end of this book. I almost cried and that’s fucking rare for me. This book sadly ended suddenly, and I wanted more but it made me stop and appreciate it more. This book is my favourite of the series, I can really see this series be a tv show.
This final installment was intense, filled with love, and completely devastating all at the same time. This series was absolutely wonderful. It had a bit too much loss for my tender heart, but it also had such an broad spectrum other things going on that it blended together really well. Such a great story. Just make just you have some tissues handy.
I really enjoyed this series! But I have a question. Ana is no longer and shifter healer, but is she still a healer? I mean is she mortal or did becoming the Phoenix change something? Just a little confused on the ending.

I really enjoyed this series and strongly recommend it
There are so many things I liked about this series. The characters, the intriguing weave if legend and myth, the pace of the action, the morality of the romance, the family values on both sides. I was thoroughly entertained. My favorite thing for a book to do for me.
This was a great series and I loved how it ended. The characters have grown so much and have to learn to live with the terrible things and evil soul in the series has caused to happen to all of them. Ana looses some of her new friends and it is very sad to see them go. She and Chance have a lot of sacrifice and pain to go through before this book ends. I loved how things worked out though and I cried in some places. It was and lovely surprise ending and I loved the epilogue that was a few years in the future so you got to see how things went after all this madness was over. Loved it! A great read and a great ending to the series.

Once in a while a story series comes along that grabs hold of your heart. This one is that special. Good versus evil and good wins. Not without sacrifice but nothing worthwhile comes without some pain. The four novels in the Shapeshifter Chronicles weave a story tapestry that transcends any series since Harry, Hermione, and Ron. You owe yourself the journey of discovery Fledgling, Prodigy, Emergent, and Ascension will bring. Happy Reading
Wonderful book and leaves me wanting more! Must read first three in the series to fully appreciate and understand what is happening. Worth every penny to get all the books. Don't usually re-read books but I would re-read this series again!
