Things we hide ~
We all have things throughout our lives that we kind of keep hidden, under wraps. Maybe it is a girl or boy we liked and kept to ourselves, or kissed someone and didn't tell even your best friend.
This is like that, but alot more! Ben Alvarez has held it in for 35 years... and it is about to come out what really happened back then, and it is not what everyone was told or thinks.
This is a great start to a series, I think I am going to love! I think those readers who love a little thrill, and maybe a trip down your own memory lane will like this too.

A great start to what promises to be an intense series. Ben has lived with a secret that he's carried close for 35 years. Promises were made between friends. Ben has lived with the consequences. This is a compelling novella that wets your appetite and leaves you hungry for more of the story. Just what happened 35 years ago, and how does it reflect on the present? Can't wait to continue this compelling story!

I was gifted a copy of this book and voluntarily provided this review.

The costs of the wrong answer

Wrong answers from a rainy night in incident caused the domino affect of lies, guilt, deceit and unfortunately death. The title made sense once I made it to the end and sad to see how it ended. Now I have more questions and can tell that Book 1 of this series will be one I'll be ready to dive into because there's more than one web to be untangled now!

I received a free review copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

This was a story that brings the past into the present, deeds done then and live in a man for many years. The story is an emotional one with an unexpected ending. This was a easy novella to enjoy and an easy read.

The cold and calculating nature of one young man leads to a life of struggles and regrets, a suspenseful tale of a man's determination to finally put things right. It's thought provoking how one shared incident effects three lives differently
Thoroughly enjoyed this short read and looking forward to book 1

This a very good book about what can happen to good and bad men and the decisions made. What makes people do what they do. Guilt can be powerful both physically and emotionally.

Ah, the folly of youth. Decisions, choices and consequences. Ben lived with his for 35 years. Would you make the same decisions? I’m not sure what I would do. Can’t wait to find out what happens next.

This book is well written and well edited, but it's not my kind of book.

This is a very thrilling story, kept me on the edge of my seat. It's very well written, but it goes back-and-forth from a timeline to the present. Now I need to read the rest of the series.
