I thought Book 1 was a brilliant piece of writing but, this second instalment I found rather boring.
Trish and her friends are continuing in their quest to find salvation and Trish's husband. They are travelling through a world of hideous creatures, terrifying monsters and fanatical cultists. They are learning not to trust anyone, as they go from one disaster to the next.
It's all becoming rather repetitive and there are still three books to go! Will I continue with the series - probably not? A pity, because it started out with so much promise.
This is the second book in this series. I rated the first book 4 stars, but the second book gets 5
So, book two continues where book one left off. Book 1 took me 3 days to finish, but I finished book two in 2 days because it was even more suspenseful than the first. So far, I'm really liking this series and I'm looking forward to reading book 3.
Trish is now left with only Nick and Lauren hoping that their next destination will be better. It is not to be. They come across catatonic people who are not aware that they are doomed. As they escape from that situation they run into a group of people. Lauren does not realise that they are a cult. They are separated and chased. Will they find each other again? The second part is chilling with a graphic description of various terrains and their traps.
The world Under the World by Boris Basic 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The horrific nightmare continues for the crew who find themselves trapped in a mysterious and terrifying world. The scary adventures and situations they end up in are so intense! The “team” are trying to help Trish find her husband, but what they go through along their journey is pure hell!
This is book 2 in the Beyond series. Each book starts off where the other ended, so read in order. I’m absolutely hooked, and I can’t wait to move on to book 3!!
1. The Buried City 2. The World Beneath the World 3. The Citadel of orphans 4. The Forsaken Forest (Out August 19th) 5. The Black Pillar (Out August 31st)
This is starting out to be an amazing series and I can’t read them fast enough! It’s so gripping and enthralling!! It kind of reminds me of The Black Farm. The imagery is fantastic and I’m picturing the entire insane world in my head!
**It’s very well written I highly recommend the read!!**
“The World Below the World,” book 2 in The Beyond series (please search this group or on Goodreads for my review of the first book), follows Trish and company as they journey toward the black pillar. An accident, however, causes them to fall through the ground hundreds of feet into an entirely new world. The world below harbors its own dangers and Trish and company must get to the surface, and survive.
Like the first book in the series, I really enjoyed this one. As this is book two in a five book series, I do feel like it served to advance the plot and introduce new dangers. Like his other books, Bacic does a fantastic job describing the environment, treating it like a member of the cast and ratcheting up the tension. With the dark tone and characters facing tremendous odds with survival not guaranteed,I’m excited to see the direction Bacic takes the series.
The World Below The World,Don't get scared its only a story, right?
Writer Boris Bacic has written books with some very creepy scenarios. 'The World Below The World (The Beyond Book 2)' certainly is a very disturbing book. I don't know how the writer sleeps just thinking about the next chapter he's going to write in a book like this! Having said that, I couldn't put it down! I even reread parts to get my head around this very disturbing 'World Below'. I'll be reading Book 3 next, because I don't really need restful sleep - not until I finish this series anyway. Mr.Bill
Trish has met some others in her journey. No one knows where they are or what is happening. Trish just wants to find her husband and escape. Who can she trust?
Im loving how these books keep you guessing what will happen next. Also how it finishes on a cliffhanger. Can't wait to start the next book in this series.
