I was given an ARC of this book and I enjoyed it.
The first in a new series sees River Crow's life change while being faced with an attacker...a man comes to her rescue but it isn't a man.
The supernatural elements are revealed in a way to be believable and the story begins.
River has a big heart and offers the stranger a refuge, but even after she finds out he's a vampire, her attraction doesn't wane.
There's plenty of action, danger and suspense with the promise of more to come.
Well-written and engaging.

Absolutely wonderful! This was unexpected. My only disappointment was when the book ended.
A vampire unknowingly falls through a 'crack' and lands into our world. While he is escaping his world and trying to remain alive in search of his sister, he lands in completely unknown surroundings and saves a human life all at the same time.
The 2 most unlikely to pair find each other trustworthy and a quest begins.
What draws me best I believe is how clean the book is. No blood & gore, no foul language, no sex scenes needed. Simply a good story.

Incredible writing by the amazing author Morgan rice, this is the first book in the series , and it gives you a glimpse into what is come as you read more in the series,

This book was fantastic. I always get excited for a new Morgan Rice Vampire series because it’s where the author truly shines. It promises a great start to a new series.
