It’s extremely introductory, more than I thought. Overall good information, but extremely superficial. One thing that is critically missing are the actual mathematical equations. He explains where they come from and what they result in, but the equations are missing from the book (which was upsetting). All in all an ok read.

The Physicists have been busy!
The well informed person cannot avoid the inevitable task of updating their knowledge of advances in physics, a field that has not only impacted energy, electromagnetism, but also created new subdisciplines such as quantum mechanics, string theory, and the most fascinating revisions of theories of light, gravity, time, gravity and many others. This book is well written and probably a lot easier to understand than your college text. Still, I recommend the reader streams one or more videos from the Amazon website (one produced by PBS and has top physicists participating). Unless you are working in the field these well done videos are a must. The information presented in this book is often misinterpreted by some energy healers who do not understand the complexity and fragility of the newest theories. For health care clinicians, knowledge of physics sufficient to communicate with health physicists will be increasingly important in practice.

I liked the idea of this broad overview of Quantum Physics and it does cover a wide breadth of subtopics. However, each are touched on in only a short chapter. I have some understanding of the subject so did not learn much with this book. I found the examples in the explanations a bit difficult to understand. Another major issue was the lack of editing and many writing errors. A clarity of language is essential to imparting some understanding of a complex subject and this book fell short.

I read this twice just so that I could wrap my mind, a bit more firmly, around the many theories, concepts, and the who's who in theories and quantum physics. I might even try a third time to hear the relationships between theory to theory leading up to the possibility of other realities through time travel.
