Owen never asked to be a weapon.

But when a strange sphere speaks to him in the forest — offering a power he doesn't understand and a story he never wanted to be part of — he makes a choice that chains him to an impossible burden.

Seventy-five million years ago, a primordial enemy was sealed away by a sacrifice so absolute that the one who made it was erased from history. Now the seal is crumbling. And the sphere has chosen Owen as the only thing capable of stopping what's about to break free.

Thrown together with a mismatched squad of broken warriors — a guilt-ridden leader, a winged joker hiding his pain, and a sharp-witted girl who misses nothing — Owen must learn to fight, to trust, and to become what the sphere demands.

But the sphere demands more than courage. It demands a price. The only light in the darkness comes from an unexpected Sarah, a fellow shifter whose presence kindles something neither of them expected. As their bond deepens, Owen begins to realize that the thing worth fighting for might not be the fate of the world — but the people he'd refuse to lose.

I was born in Huddersfield, Yorkshire — a proud industrial town in the north of England. I attended King James School in Almondbury, and from there, I made the short journey north to the University of Manchester, where I graduated with honors. And then I did something that still surprises me when I think back on it: I crossed an ocean. I traded grey skies for golden ones, left behind everything familiar, and built a new life here in Southern California.

It was the kind of leap every good story requires — and I suppose I've never been able to resist one.

I write because I believe stories are more than just escapes from reality. They are windows into what reality *could be*. A portal. A whisper from something greater. My goal is not only to entertain, but to educate and inspire readers to investigate the world — and beyond — through fantastic tales. If I can leave you with the same wonder I felt as a boy reading under the covers by flashlight, whispering *"What if that could be real?"* — then I've done what I set out to do.

The Descendant of Gods Trilogy — *Raindrops of the Gods*, *Jewels beneath the Loch*, and *Retribution of Fire* — is where I cut my novelist teeth. It's where I learned the craft, stumble by stumble, page by page.

But the culmination of everything I've worked toward is **The Silver Blood Series** — an epic fantasy adventure that I believe represents my best work so far. If you've read *The God-Killer*, Book One, thank you for coming along on the journey.

The next book is already calling.

And I’d be honored if you answered with me.

*The Silver Blood Series* is an ambitious and captivating science fantasy that combines ancient civilizations, cosmic warfare, unforgettable mysteries, and coming-of-age adventure into a fast-paced and imaginative saga. From the opening chapters, the series creates a sense of wonder and urgency that kept me eager to discover what would happen next.

One of the series' greatest strengths is its expansive world-building. The history of the Moxen, the mysterious spheres, the immortal Council, and the terrifying Devorax create a rich mythology that feels both ancient and fresh. As each layer of the story unfolds, the stakes continue to grow, making the conflict feel epic without losing sight of the characters at its heart.

Owen is an engaging protagonist whose journey from an ordinary teenager to someone carrying the weight of humanity's future is both believable and inspiring. His growth is driven not only by extraordinary powers but also by difficult choices, sacrifice, and the responsibility that comes with protecting others. The supporting cast also adds depth to the story, with each character bringing their own strengths, personalities, and emotional moments to the larger narrative.

The series strikes an enjoyable balance between action, mystery, and emotional storytelling. Epic battles, ancient secrets, and high-stakes decisions are matched by themes of friendship, courage, hope, and self-sacrifice. Even as the scale of the conflict expands to include entire civilizations and cosmic threats, the emotional core remains grounded in the characters and the bonds they share.

Overall, *The Silver Blood Series* is an exciting and imaginative read that delivers everything fans of epic science fantasy could hope for—compelling characters, rich lore, thrilling action, and a story that continually raises the stakes. Readers who enjoy expansive adventures with memorable heroes, powerful mythology, and emotionally satisfying moments will find this series well worth the journey.

This was a very quick and easy YA read. The story line is incredibly quick with very few dull moments. I wanted to know what happened next but I also wanted some more depth to the descriptions.

Enjoyable!

I enjoyed the writing and the environment being created for the story. I gave it3* because I felt there was unfinished depth to it. I will read the next one.
