I read Crazy String by my good friend and former colleague, Moira Donovan.
I love Moira's purpose (or what I think is one of her purposes) of bringing people together through (some) self-reflection and forgiveness. Likewise, I appreciate how Moira illustrates people having different memories of the same events, and, in particular, that people who are stuck can free themselves and come together. What we all need!
Moira's sentences are strong, descriptive, and beautiful.
I like her characters as well. In particular, I’m intrigued by Beatrice aka Beebee.

Crazy String is a compelling journey through sorrow, separation, anger, and finally, resolution. I was especially moved by David’s return to his family. The story is beautifully told with compassion and love, reminding us of the power of family.
