only two stars
Only two I’m afraid… it’s either an AI generated story, or it has been rushed to press, or there wasn’t any proofreading at all. There are a number of storyline gaps?, errors? Where the protagonists are in one location then suddenly with no explanation the scene has changed which is annoying making me have to re read previous paragraphs to make sense of what has happened. Some sentences make no sense, the tenses and grammar are à mish mash hence the reason it feels like an AI has written it. But on the whole the story is good enough to make me want to complete the series.
Must try better….. 😊

Another Great Read
This book was a bit more shadowy than I care for; but there was enough straight out story telling that I was able to keep track and follow the story. When you like technical display and storyline, you will get lots of it here.
I enjoyed the read and look forward to reading more of it.

A Great Second book
Walker and Cooper combined to give a great story in the Dawn of Mankind. The story flushed out the character base and gave context to the meaty premise. I am looking forward to book three.

great read Highly recommended.
Truly ingenious plot
Characters and personalities well developed.
Plenty of suspense.
Can’t wait for future books. Plot could go many different ways.

Compelling
Did not want to put this book down because I needed to find what happened next! The characters are oddly different but appealing. The story is intriguing and I look forward to reading more if author continues.
