Horrible, horrible book, with a ridiculous premise, an idiotic lead heroine, and completely nothing redeeming to be found beyond the fantastic cover.

Briefly, Charlotte is a successful award-winning advertising exec in Chicago who randomly decides to become a maid, yes, a MAID, in Buckingham Palace when her career and personal life fall apart. She has some anger management issues, not to mention a severe lack of intelligence, and yet, somehow, the (fictional) Prince of England falls in love with her, before he is killed by the jealous gardener who thinks he is the illegitimate son of the Queen. She is then framed and convicted for the prince's murder, and no, I am not making this up. Someone actually wrote this down and sold it in a book, which I foolishly, sadly bought for my kindle.

This book held promise, and I can't pinpoint why I didn't enjoy it more. I had a very hard time liking or caring about any of the main characters. I read this book while sick, otherwise I probably wouldn't have finished it.
