Another incredible book set in the Omega Protocol world! My heart was absolutely breaking for Zero. Taken off the streets into HVC captivity, the sh!t he was forced to endure was horrible. His determination to maintain as much autonomy as possible given his circumstances was admirable. And his sharp-tongue and banter with the staff? Priceless! Reading Zero‘s backstory made me all the more thankful for Colt and his role in Zero‘s life now. Overall, this is a must-read after reading Omega Zero and Omega Protocol!

A great look into the backstory of Zero. The writing is unique and worthy of your reading. This story is dark and depraved and oh so interesting! I can’t wait to continue the series and learn more about Zero and Colt! 💊🌉💧⛓️🏥🤐🔥🎴☠️

Well, I needed more Zero and apparently Jenna Malice decided the appropriate response was emotional damage. Containment Failure gives us Zero’s backstory, and suddenly so many pieces of his particular brand of chaos make sense. There is less of the legendary commentary I have come to love, but considering what is happening to him, I will allow it. Barely. Instead, we get to see how Zero became Zero, and I am officially OUTRAGED on his behalf.

Knowing where he came from and what happened to him adds an entirely different layer to the character. All those things that made me laugh in the previous books hit differently now because you understand what is underneath them. Do I love him more now? Absolutely. Am I also prepared to fight fictional people over the treatment of my fictional spirit animal? ALSO ABSOLUTELY. I have adopted him. The paperwork is complete. He is mine now.

Basically, I came here wanting more Zero and left wanting even more Zero, except now I am emotionally invested, protective, and slightly homicidal about it. This was exactly the backstory I didn’t know I needed, and I need Jenna Malice to understand that my Zero addiction has only gotten worse. Please send help. Or preferably, just send more Zero.

Containment Failure is the first book in the The Failure Files Series. This is Zero's back story and as such is set in the Omega Protocol world. I really loved this book and learning about Zero's past. Zero is such a strong guy to have gone through all that he did. This filled in a lot of the questions I had and I want more Zero. I can't wait for the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book and series.
