The Ten Commandments

Rate this book
Under the Old Covenant, these are commandments, telling our flesh what to do to conform to the mind of God. Under the New Covenant, these are ten promises of what God will do in us so that we can be conformed to His image. This is a basic study on the divine law, the basis of government for the Kingdom of God.

Why do I love this book? Because I own a copy, a very old copy, that was given to my as a child, by my Great Grandmother who passed away when I was only 5 years old. Inside the cover is says:
"Sheila from G.G. Horne"

How can I not love this? This book will have a special spot on my bookshelf forever.

I learned that His Law is spiritual and the 10 commandments are really promising when we look at them in light of the New Covenant. God discerns not only our actions but our hearts. And He is writing His Law in our hearts as we live this life as members of Christ’s body.
