This is a very unique and creative mystery that taps into your senses and imagination. I am from the US, so reading stories from other countries sets my imagination running. Max and Min spruce up the campground lake to attract fishermen clientele, but instead they attract six dead bodies. This story taps into history, geography and architecture. Another fun read and a visit from some good, old friends.

If I didn't love camping so much, and I didn't love eating great food, and I hadn't fallen in love with the Efforts... I'd be worried about how they draw such murderous activity to their laid back lifestyle! Luckily, despite finding themselves in yet another unexpected crime scene, Max, Min and the divine Anxious continue to feel like friends who make me smile.
This one ties an historical crime with the current challenges of making their campsite even more idyllic than it already was.
Extra joy in following the relationship antics of Jack and Jill.
This series is the perfect lighthearted end to a day off. Best read in a hammock on a balmy evening with a glass of your favourite tipple.
