My present work depicts and chronicles the narrative of other intelligent forces. It shows their downfall through the unfolding drama of romance and adventure. Their search for a new home took millions of light-years of travel through space, which eventually led to encounters with negative freak forces of nature. This played havoc on their emotional state of mind. The dilemmas and solutions outlined by the intelligent forces provide guidelines for coping with current problems our world faces. As a result, it becomes obvious that in order for our world to survive and thrive, we need to have faith in our positive visions. It is only through the power of loving kindness and compassion and the dedication to do positive acts can our world rise above negative forces.
I won a copy of this book in a Goodreads contest. It's been over a year but finally managed to find time to start and finish reading. The story was wonderfully written and I was surprised how deep it got about the concept of good and evil.
Without giving out too much information, the story starts with the first few chapters, about a planet in the midst of destruction. Not by natural causes but by a person seeking out power. Two families and their surviving people built their own spaceship and succeed in escaping the planet before its utter demise. These two families then separate in search of a new home. One spaceship and its inhabitants end up in an accident that changed their lives forever. The other family soon find a new planet, watch, and help the inhabitants of the planet to slowly grow. One family and its people went down a dark path while the other focuses on light.
There is struggle between the two forces, especially since these two families knew each other and were friends with one another. The nature of good and evil is explored by the events that happen in the story.
"The Forces," is a slow paced, Sci Fi, and philosophical book. Not for those who want a fast pace, action every page, and quick read book. The story leaves you thinking about the human psyche and how the world is becoming. Looking forward to reading the second book and finding out how it ends.
