This is one of my new favorite author/artists. Each illustration has a charm of its own, and I love the gentle color palette. There are no words, but the art speaks for itself. In this story, the bunny goes about preparing the table for a meal. We never see what they're going to eat because that isn't the purpose of the story. My 20-month old nephew thought it was funny that the bunny put flowers on the table.

no fishhooks in this one, just setting the table for a nice dinner party, something a child would enjoy seeing come forth bit by bit. A sweet offering.
