Auctioned to My Bratva Boss by A. J Black delivers a dark mafia romance packed with a possessive alpha hero, high-stakes drama, and over-the-top emotional tension that had my attention from the first chapter. In this novel, we are introduced to a heroine whose desperate circumstances lead her into the dangerous world of the Bratva, where an unexpected connection with a powerful mafia boss changes both of their lives. One of the things that I really enjoyed the novel is how Black leaned into many of the beloved romance tropes: including an age gap, one-night stand, office romance, curvy heroine, and powerful Bratva boss to create a fast-paced, steamy read. Overall, Auctioned to My Bratva Boss was an entertaining escape full of drama, intense attraction, and a guaranteed happily-ever-after.

Riley and her sick sister were basically on their own when they had to fend for themselves. To keep her sister alive, she gave up pieces of herself. So Matvey ended up buying Riley, and what started as a quick thing stretched into months and months. The guy treated her like she was less than dirt. Most women would've bolted after the stuff she put up with. Yet he figured she was weak just because she went along with whatever he wanted asexualy. But once she thought he betrayed her, he got to see the true Riley.
At the beginning of the book, I had a lot of emotions. But as the story went on, I couldn't put the book down. I loved the relationship of the sisters.
Needless to say, I was a little stunned Riley chose to auction herself off, then to be bought by her boss?! What are the chances?! Riley was intriguing, a tad naive but had some sass, whereas Matvey was ruthless and definitely morally gray. It's truly heartbreaking to hear how people talked about her, but the contrast with the way Matvey worshiped her was incredibly captivating. This book was incredibly dark, had a few hard to read moments but was packed with lots of sizzling spice!

What started out as a simple crush evolves into a plot where romance is thrust into a rocket and complicated situation. Riley and Matvey may not have gotten to know each other if she did not need to earn money quick. This was a good read.

I don’t know what it is about this book but it has a yuck factor. It just feels wrong so I’m gonna be a DNF on it. The words that are used, the narcissism of the male lead and his utter lack of care for a virgin. Boo!
I thought this was a good story, although I did think Matvey could have been a bit more tender with Riley, but that didn't detract from their story.. A good story that held your attention from the first page.

It’s was an exciting book, that I enjoyed very much. He was so handsome and controlling and sexy. The sex scenes were great. I felt so bad for her at times. But when it all comes together they are a wonderful strong couple.
This was good juicy and heartbreaking. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I liked all the characters even the villains. They were soo wicked, lol. Highly recommend.
