The Inheritance Problem: A Grumpy/Sunshine, Small Town Romance

Rate this book
You might think it's reckless to gamble your future on ninety days under one roof with a man who looks at you like you're his biggest mistake.
You'd be right.

The will is live together on the Fairbanks homestead for ninety consecutive days, or the ranch is sold and the town gets its parking lot.

Ross Fairbanks is grumpy, stubborn, and entirely too sexy for a man who speaks in grunts and works with his hands.
Every shared meal, every lingering glance, every accidental touch makes it harder to remember why I swore I'd never fall for him.

Then he kisses me in front of the entire county.
One taste of Ross Fairbanks burns away every reason I had to keep my distance.

We're almost to the finish line.
Which is exactly when I discover what's hidden inside his desk drawer.

One secret. One impossible choice.
And proof that everything I believed about us was a lie.

“The Inheritance Problem” by Jenna Jax

-A wonderful slow-burn romance filled with heart, family secrets, and small-town charm. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts. Ross and Hattie are brought together by the terms of a will, which requires them to live on a Montana property for ninety days before either can claim their inheritance. As they spend time together, Hattie bakes using treasured family recipes while Ross slowly lets down his guard. A hidden letter from the grandmother changes everything, testing their growing feelings and the choices they must make.

Ross and Hattie are both likable, well-developed characters whose romance unfolds naturally. With an engaging storyline, lovable supporting characters, and a satisfying emotional payoff, this is a sweet romance that I highly recommend.

A lovely well written book . The story contains some wonderful characters that you find in small towns/rural areas that seem to know more about your business than you do, some of their comments will make you smile . A thoroughly enjoyable read about Ross & Hattie’s
Turbulent romance will they or won’t they make a go of their relationship and all the outside interference. Very easy enjoyable read.

Good slow burn story. Two intense likable characters both being manipulated from the grave. A town that doesn’t a miss a beat or a feeling. Both wanting the other waiting to see who moves first on the board. Good read.

Good story.

I thought the story could have moved a little faster. I don't understand the need for the constant references to arithmetic and math working. I did enjoy the book.
