This was such a feel-good romance, set in Scotland! The magic and charm of Scotland really shone through, and I felt like I was traveling right alongside the characters.
It took me a minute to get used to the FMC, Clementine. Her energy is a lot but her anxieties felt very real and relatable. I really appreciated the conversations about anxiety throughout the book; those are such important topics to see represented.
And Oliver 🥹 A sweet muffin, golden-retriever MMC who is in touch with his emotions and honestly everything you could hope for in a man who has experienced trauma and grown from it. I absolutely adored him!
If you love reading about imperfect characters who feel real, emotionally intelligent romance, and a charming setting, this book is for you 🥰

It was an adorable and sweet romance book, easy to read. Lovably characters, took a little bit to get into but i had a smile on my face through out. Very cute story!

As someone who actually lives in Scotland, I was always going to be curious about a romance set here, and Isle Love You in Scotland absolutely delivered. 🥰🏴
Clementine had me laughing from the beginning. She's organised, determined, and has her entire Scottish holiday planned down to the finest detail. Of course, the one thing she doesn't plan for is running into her celebrity crush… and her immediate reaction being to turn around and RUN! 😂 Honestly, I couldn't blame her, but watching Oliver's reaction to it was even better.
Oliver was such a lovely character to get to know. Behind the celebrity image is a man who is struggling with the aftermath of a difficult and painful relationship, and I really appreciated that his healing was given the space it deserved. He wasn't simply rescued by the romance; he had his own journey to work through.
I also loved watching Clementine face her own anxieties and learn to let herself experience things rather than trying to control every possible outcome. Her journey alongside Oliver felt genuine, and their relationship developed in a way that made me want to keep turning the pages.
And then there's Scotland itself. Being Scottish and living here, I always notice when authors get the setting right, and I loved the way Scotland became part of their story rather than simply being a pretty backdrop. The scenery, the atmosphere, the little touches of Scottish charm, it all added something special.
This was such a warm, sweet and uplifting romance with humour, emotion, healing and plenty of butterflies along the way. Clementine and Oliver were a joy to follow, and I loved seeing two people who were both carrying their own baggage find a little happiness together.
A lovely Scottish romance with plenty of heart, and one I'd happily recommend to anyone looking for a feel good read with a gorgeous setting and characters you'll want to root for. 💕

What a sweet story. At first I wasn't sure I could power through because Clementine is a lot... She is all over the place. But with that said Amber does a really spectacular job of accurately portraying "all the things" (as Clementine phrases it). Clementine is real and her insecurities are relatable to readers. Her counter part Oliver is an absolute sweet heart. He is the epitome of a golden retriever MMC. He is kind and attentive. His character works through his own trauma and isn't afraid to express emotions even if they are ugly. A man with a very high emotional IQ?! Wow what a gem. This story is a sweet and you will smile. If you are looking for a long winded tale with two imperfect but perfect for each other people, with a side of Scottish magic then this story is for you.

Oh Clementine you overthinking, babbling soul you! The way her anxiety was written was so good, how she never felt her own worth was written beautifully! I’m sure a lot of readers can relate to her and can remember instances that they have done or felt the same. Oliver, gentle and caring, even when he himself was struggling. How they both came together going around Scotland was lovely the gentleness of their bond was so sweet how even though the other was struggling with something they always had enough strength to be there for the other one it was so endearing and beautifully written. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can’t wait to see what happens with Amelie and Logan!

It took me a little bit to get into because the pacing felt a bit slow, and I had a hard time following Clementine's thought process at first. As the story went on, though, it all started to make sense, and I ended up appreciating how her character was written. It didn't take long to get hooked after that.
Clementine and Oliver were such a good match, and I really enjoyed watching them help each other heal. Also... can you imagine your celebrity crush becoming your actual boyfriend? That's every fangirl's dream.
I knew once Logan and Amelie started to appear in scenes it would make an excellent next book that I'd happily read!

Oh my darling Clementine you sweet nervous little goofball and Oliver you sweet little baby I just wanted to keep both of these characters in my pocket. I loved reading these two goofing off around Scotland and the little antics they got up to. This the second book I’ve read by Amber and her characters always draw me in because they’re funny, relatable, and there’s always just something about them that makes me want to hug them. The ending hurt my feelings for a bit but I still get my HEA so I forgive Amber for the pain.

I enjoyed reading this book. Both Clementine and Oliver had characteristics that drew me into their characters. While I started off a little frustrated with Clementine’s chapters, once I got used to the thought pattern of her character I understood it better and found it easier to read along. The recent tragic events in Oliver’s life made him much more relatable than just another famous face. I would recommend this book to others.
