Happy!!!

I was scared at first. I was ready to jump in the book and yell at everybody but the girls’ mama. Aretha more of a boss than we thought.

Nothing Wrong With Chose Self!!!

You must follow your own heart & soul and no one else. Is money, power and control more important than finding love? As an adult is it ok for your parent to tell you who you are to be with.

First I was to start off with Mrs. Belrose. I love her down and so happy she realized she was worth much more and can do better. As women we sometimes get lost in man and the imagine, however, when enough is enough it over. That’s exactly what happened with Mrs. Belrose. She got tired and started to remember who she is and what her last name was. When she went and shut it all down with Me. Belrose, I was jumping and excited. Cause he just assumed he had it all figured out. Oh but was he so wrong. Not only did she look out for herself, she looked out for her kids Fortune, Fame & Zahara as well. Let’s not mention the wedding… That was hilarious and I loved it.

Speaking of the twins Fortune & Fame. I’m so happy they got it together and figured it out. They were trapped in a web until they realized that their happiness matters. See Bay & Breeze are them Queen that knew their worth. I don’t think I personally could stick for the 3 yrs as basically the sidechick but I get it. Bay is my girl cause she wasn’t going for it. It’s me order nothing lol. I loved the fact that they chose their own happiness rather than remain in their father web. As for Zahara, I’m just glad she got that man and didn’t get push back. Loved that he was showing her different things and side of him.

Those that know, know I rock with T.Michelle the long way. I was slight disappointed on how the read started feeling rushed at about the 50% mark but it did tapped all questions that remained from book 2. Look forward to what’s next.

Don't PMO yall!

Wooo, this book annoyed me and also made me all warm and fuzzy. Let's start with what annoyed me. Bay & Breeze not being able to stand on business! Ughhhh it's like they didn't want to see the whole picture before jumping into this agreement to being the side/ main chick. That doesn't even make sense to be a main in secrecy! Bay did smarting up as the date drew closer. Another thing that annoyed me was Fame and Fortune not having the ability to stand up to their father. Shesh their mama had more heart them them and I loved that for her.

Ohhhhh how I loved Zaza and her boo. I hope they get a spin-off.

I definitely enjoyed that their daddy's empire started to crumble right in front of them. Oh, how the king has fallen!

I tried giving this author another chance, and once again, she fell flat.
The stories come across as corny, awkward, and full of inconsistencies and repetition, to the point that it genuinely feels like AI was heavily relied on. One thing this author consistently does is stretch a story across multiple books when it simply isn’t necessary. This series, just like the last one I read, could have been one solid 500-600 page book instead of being dragged out.
What frustrated me most was the pacing. Despite being relatively short, the story suddenly starts jumping ahead as if it’s rushing to the finish line. The arranged marriage plot could have been resolved much earlier, and the drama had so much potential but never delivered. Instead, it was filled with fluff that added very little if anything. I found myself skimming entire chapters just to get to something meaningful.
I only finished because I was already invested, but the ending was completely underwhelming, which has become a pattern with this author’s books. There was so much potential, but the execution was flat from beginning to end.

This will be my last book by this “author.”

So book 1 was interesting enough to get me to book 2 but from there it went downhill for me. The premise of the story was interesting but it didn’t land for me. There were chapters that just felt like fillers to me, not providing any depth. I skipped over all Zahra’s chapters, she just felt a bit irrelevant to be honest. Then the twins… there could have been more between them and their dad and standing on their own two feet as adults. It wasn’t really the moment they thought it was to go against this arranged married literally at past 90% of the 3rd book. My last point is to authors in general, these cliffhangers have to make sense. If you put all three parts of your book together does it make sense? Would it stand as a good standalone? If not then another review of the story and content needs to take place.

Let me start off by saying that I did thoroughly enjoy this series! I felt like this book had hella filler in the middle which was redundant—I think it was to show clips of the relationship before the actual wedding.

Also my favorite twin will be Fortune. I felt like he wasn’t as immature as his brother Fame. Cause what Fame did with Sadiq was out of line and disrespectful to Bay. And the fact she still ended up with him had me a little irritated lol like she should’ve had him sweat some more for making that poor decision. Also their father can kick rocks—he was a control freak thinking he had the right to control everyone in his family like they weren’t grown.

I’m happy Aretha stood up for herself and made sure Cornelius got what he deserved

Yesss!!!

This was a really good finale! Fame and Fortune’s daddy was really something else! But Ms.Aretha was was playing the long game and babyyyy it showed. Them rent a brides they called themselves havin needed to knocked between the washer and the dryer!! They played in Breeze and Bay’s faces one too many times. Breeze and Bay were wayyyy to bossed up to be anything but wives. I needed them to tighten up when it came them brothers. Zahara showed a lot of growth and maturity especially with pinky! I really enjoyed reading this series……10/10 highly recommend

Enjoyed the Series

The series was a great read; relatable, emotional and comical. That darn daddy plucked my nerves. He reminded me of someone who forgot where they came from or what they had to endure to level up. And there ain't nothing worse than a jealous friend. I was hoping Fame, Fortune or EZ would have handled Pinky, but I understand how Zaza felt. I don't know if I would have continued a relationship with Fame & Fortune considering the circumstances, but I am glad things worked in Breeze and Bay's favor. Thanks, T. Michelle, for a great series.

3 books was a stretch.

This could’ve ended in 1 book. I felt like it dragged too long. And all the begging from the FMCs is a no go for me. If you have to tell a man your worth. He’s not the one. Arranged marriage or not. I continued on because in the beginning of the series the FMC gave independent strong women. But this last book… they both seemed weak. Zaza probably the only one i felt grew. She was just too for friendship. But once she got with Ez she leveled up.

cute series

This was a cute series. It was just enough drama to keep you engaged. I definitely think this could have been 2 books - seemed like a lot of time was spent with characters retelling scenes we already read as readers. And although the arranged marriage concept was the reason for the tension and angst - they weren’t married for any of the book lol so Im not sure I would categorize this series as that. But loved the characters and enjoyed the story.

Two stars because I finished

This series was good 1.5 books in then not so much. A lot of repetition and zero movement. Then it turned into a picture book. Y’all getting out of hand with these ai images. He said she had on a house dress with bleach stains but the ai image said that was a lie it’s a mini skin tight Maxie dress. And how a year later the sister is still pregnant and one of the girls is about to pop?

LOVED LOVE THIS SERIES DOWN

From the first book to now, I LOVE IT DOWN!! I’m here from TikTok & I’m happy with the character development, especially with Zahara. I love the happily ever after ♥️♥️I’m sad that it’s come to an end. T. Michelle is a wonderful author; I’ve read majority of her catalog!

excessive use of AI

The first book started strong but the writing got worse as the series progressed. The AI pictures were unnecessary and messed with the formatting and reading flow. As an author do your diligence on the negative impact of AI usage on the environment and the community.

I wouldn’t recommend this read.

10/10

T.Michelle never disappoints in this was such an amazing series. I really did not want to end. I hope she gives us a standalone follow up after everybody has their kids because I love the Bellrose twins. Bay and Breeze were really those girls! I’m happy for Zaza and Mrs. Belrose, I hate that Cornelius had to lose his family, but sometimes you don’t realize all the good things you have until they’re gone.

CHECKMATE!

Aretha!! She played the long game for sure. Those were real boss moves. I still wished she had slapped Cornelius but I'll take what he got lol. The ending was perfect. Bay, Breeze, and Zahara are loved correctly and all the men followed their hearts.

I loved the final book. It had me on a roller-coaster. I am glad the wife, twins, and daughter took their lives back.
It took one of the twins losing his girl to stand up to their father.
I thought the story was going townd a different way.
