Extraordinary Hero 2: An Epic Fantasy

Rate this book
The elves are coming. And Carter's sword is hungry.

Weeks after seizing the title of Duke of the South, Carter Prichard is fortifying his farmstead for war. The elven Grand Coalition has mobilized, and his spymaster estimates two months before the full army crosses the border. But when a poisoned letter nearly kills his infant daughter, Carter stops waiting. He takes the fight behind enemy lines—raiding convoys, assassinating commanders, and absorbing new powers as he lets the Void-Eater taste the magic it craves.

But the sword is changing. It screams for blood, speaks in full sentences, and tries to turn Carter's blade on his own men. Worse, the ancient soul-weapons—artifacts of world-shaking power—are surfacing across the continent, and Carter isn't the only one collecting them. With his own king turning against him and Cherry's stolen son brainwashed behind enemy lines, Carter must rally his allies and break the Coalition's war machine before the full host arrives—or lose everything he's built.

And the deeper he cuts into enemy territory, the more certain he becomes that the elven High King isn't the one pulling the strings....

So many mistakes… you just couldn’t stick the landing

The main character was doing so good…. But of course, the author had to get a big head and here come all the mistakes. The main character had to become an idiot toward the end of the book.
