The Fallen
Gabriel Mason is not your typical twenty-three-year-old. Since the young age of nineteen he has been a member of the Choir, a ruthless organization of assassins. Since his induction into this mythical group, he has completed his missions with merciless devotion to his trade. When the daughter of a wealthy businessman is targeted by those seeking revenge; Gabriel is sent to see that the mission is done right. He locates his target, Cady Bishop and soon discovers that she is no ordinary mark. Although Gabriel hates to meet his targets face to face, there is something about the girl that intrigues him. On the eve of Cady’s scheduled death, Gabriel realizes that he has fallen in love with the girl he was sent to kill. Will he choose Cady the love of his life, or the Choir, the only family that he has ever known?

"The Fallen" kept me on my toes from the first page until the end.
I was completely absorbed in this book. The storyline and the connection of the characters are great though I think that the romance between Gabe and Cady developed too fast.
But the last chapters blew my mind and left me speechless. I thought I needed someone to restart my heart. It literally stopped. So don't expect a fairytale romance with a pretty ending.
I need more of this story and can't wait to continue on this journey!
