In this book, three missiologists (Robert Priest, Thomas Campbell, and Bradford Mullen) wrestle with the strategic issue of spiritual power in mission in a paper titled Missiological The New Animistic Paradigm. Leading experts, Charles Kraft and Patrick Johnstone, give a response in their papers, 'Christian Animism' or God-Given Authority? and Biblical Spiritual Power to Change our World.
Priest cs raise questions concerning the validity of much modern delivery ministry. Kraft's reply leaves me with doubts. Johnstone's plea for a strong ministry of intercession, while containing some implicit criticisms as well as affirmatons of both, takes the whole exchange to a much higher spiritual level.
