I like erotic fiction but I need a book with a strong storyline. Unfortunately this book didn’t do it for me. It was good but I needed some more story development.
Ok sooo Tamika got a banger for y’all. This was a cute story, Natalie showed a lot of growth in this story after being left by her young sweethearts/husband. She started finding her self and discovering who she was. This story showed the down fall of young marriages, not in a bad way but it just showed the important of enjoying youth, life experiences and discovering self first before getting tied down. This book was funny, sexually explorative and growth. Great storyline, entertaining and funny!
I have so many questions like what is Jocelyn problem. What is the point of all of this Natalia didn't do anything to any of them. And that husband of hers can kick rocks
I read Plain Jane 2 before I read PJ 1. So it made no sense to read 1. I know the ending. But like I said about PJ 2 for them to be in a sex club. The book had no sex in it.
It normally only takes me a few hours to get through a book this short, but for some strange reason it took me a little bit longer to get through this short story. Just when I was about to hang it, Tamika did her thing and pulled me right on in. Then just like that...to be continued. Oh well, we are going into the winter months, and there is still no Plain Jane two. I do plan to read book two, just to see how things will turn out for Mrs. Natalie. I should have known she was weak, and would fall for Joyclyn and Silk's mess. Looks like Silk has unintentionally fallen for Plain Jane. The nerve of Kenneth to think he could get tired, take a break and show up like nothing ever went wrong. Oh well, this book wasn't too bad. Tamika has the floor again, and hopefully she will do great things with the sequel. Don't make us wait too long, Tamika!
I have read a plenty of books by this author and I must say this is not her best work. Some people have it five stars and I am still scratching my head as to why they did. It was a very slow read for me. It was a combination of 50 shades of Grey and Addicted which didn't work for me. This is just my opinion only people. Don't let my opinion discourage you all from reading this book. Just as I said earlier I love all of her earlier work this just wasn't my cup of tea. (Addicted was a great read
This story grabs you from page one! This is the story of Jane who is newly separated. She meets a new friend in Joy who is not who she seems to be. Jane soon learns there is life after her marriage to her childhood sweetheart and she is coming into her own, but at what price??
Kudos Ms. Newhouse!! Once again you have brought the house down with a superb, multi-character and intricate story. BRING ON PART II!!!!
This was an okay read. It was hard for me to really get into it. It started out kinda slow, and just as I was about to give up on it, it got a little better. This is typically not the kind of book that I usually read, so maybe that was the problem. The storyline was well written and easy to follow. I didn't like how Jocelyn was plotting on Natalie from the start. I will be reading part 2 to see what is going to happen.
I like the fact that the author didn't have overscripted sex scenes . It was just enough but they were well written and the story was well told .the storyline was true to its title . Plain jane wasn't so plain jane after all I loved that jane wasn't so forgiving to her husband . I would like to see were they end up.Joy is a sneaky hefier i had a feeling about her. It seemed soon as the plot twisted the book ended. That was my only problem.
This book was very enjoyable, it kind of reminded me of the book and movie (How Stella Got Her Grove Back) except there wasn't a younger man in this story. Anyways it was well written and it had me tell the last page, Even though the book was short it did not disappoint. Can't wait for the next installment of this book.
I gave this book 3 stars instead of 1 star because it picked up toward the end. I started it put it down but decided to finish it. I couldnt get an understanding of it at first. Natalie was being very loose after her husbAnd left her and got herself caught up in something. I may read part 2 just see what silk and joy have up their sleeves.
This book kept me engrossed from page one. All of the characters were well developed. Natalie is finally living life on her terms. Joy is trouble I can tell and is up to no good. Kenneth has a lot of nerve thinking he can come and go as he pleases. I highly recommend this book.
NATALIE WAS A FREAK JUST WAITING TO COME OUT THE CLOSET. SHE DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO DO BECAUSE SHE HAD BEEN WITH KENNETH SO LONG. UNTIL SHE MEET JOY. JOY HAD ME CONFUSED. SHE SEEMED TO WANT NATALIE FOR HERSELF BUT SHE HAD SOMETHING UP HER SLEEVE. SILK WAS THE ONE FOR NATALIE. ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END. CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT IT IS. READY FOR PART 2
This book kept me wanting more. If only Kenneth knew what Jane been doing while he's been missing in action he would get it together to get his WIFE back cause she definitely isn't Plain Jane and boring anymore....lol
Great book....I loved the sex scenes lol.....this book went many different ways which I love and the characters perspectives we great and not confusing like some. I think Tamiya did her Thang with this one. CAN'T WAIT FOR PART 2.5!!! Great work.
Quick read (only 55 pages) and FULL of steam! Jane is an interesting character, as are the people she meets in this world she inhabits. Part two drops this fall and I am looking forward to it.
Even though I normally don't read short stories, this one really had my attention. The twist at the end was a big surprise & I can't wait to read book 2 once I figure out which book it is lol :)
